Make sure you don't take this map too seriously, by the way. It might start off sounding like it's
serious business, but as time goes on you'll see sarcastic humor.

Let me know what you think and if you enjoyed it! Tell me if you've found any bugs!
I jumped into a well right off the bat and got trapped.
I am the quite possibly the worst quarry worker ever.
(You should probably put a ladder there next time.)
I can appreciate the desert atmosphere and amount effort put into the map.
The city is well-made, though some of the buildings are made in slightly different styles than the others, which is weird, but negligible.
There's a decent amount of free roam to be had, with most of the buildings explorable. A few nice quirky little bits like villagers aggro-ing when you try to steal things.
Some halfway decent equipment is maybe a little too readily available near the start, but I'm quite bad at combat, so I didn't mind it much.
That said, I give it a 7/10.
Me and a friend played this map. IT WAS GOOD. Oh my gosh, I can't even. We had epic music playing in the background and I just felt like I WAS that character. I rode on a horse called Alfred and my friend rode on one called Arnold. Our horses were our prized possessions. (I ship Alfrold) Me and my friend gaily rode Alfrold all over the map, with every turn and building impacting our very Hearts and Souls. Annu-alu sux.
But in all srs-ness that map was great. Gr8 map I r8 8/8 m8. I h8 not this map. Well that escal8ed quickly.
But in even more seriousness, I think the design and story of the map was well done. It inspired me to create something like it. (Not a map, like a book, or movie or something)
10/10
I would recommend you play this highly.
I mean I would highly recommend you play this. (don't do drugs kids)
Also, as a different note, we have made a survival games version of this map, where the main city is blocked off and walled in and there's various chests and whatnot dotted around with supplies. All of the adventure map related aspects are removed, though.
If anyone is interested, I can put that up for download as well.
This thing sure took a while. Some parts, like the forum, roads, courthouse and some of the houses, are entirely done in survival. I'm glad people like it as much as I did!

Yeehaw.
A lot of fun! but It there could have been more dialogue (talking points?) amongst the NPCs. They add good comedic value.
