Meltdown Dev. Update No. 2 - The Reset
December 17, 2015
Hello everyone! I know that not a lot of people follow this thread but this Dev. Update is something I did once a few months ago. Since then the map has seen a lot of work... and then I realized I was unhappy with it and I scrapped everything! This does not mean it will be the end of Meltdown, I have learned a lot from some great CTM Map Makers thanks to being a bigger part of the community and Meltdown will come back bigger and better than ever. As for what I've been up to I have been super busy with school running the CTM SMP and just trying to be a part of the community but it's about time I come back and start focusing on my map. From now on I will be putting out these Dev. Updates every Thursday when I have a chance (possibly not next week because Christmas). Thank you for everyone who supported Meltdown in it's first form but it's time for me to restart with the new knowledge and capabilities I have with mapping!

Meltdown Dev. Update No. 3 - Breaking Ground
December 24, 2015
Round 2 of the restart! This week was mainly dedicated to planning and idea making but I did manage to get quite a bit of work done on my first area (mainly last night). I've been pushing along creating the structures but the environment still needs a lot of work adding trees and fleshing out the terrain. Like I said, this week has mainly been idea making and the first area I've decided will be an open-sky farm area either called Mundane Farms, Scorched Farms, Scorched Earth, or possibly something else but those are the name ideas I've had so far. I also played around with the title command a bit this week and I really don't know why more people don't use that instead of the text because I think it looks much more slick.
Anyway I'll finish off as I will from now on, with a screenshot

Developer Update No. 4 - Secret Project

Sorry I haven't posted one of these in a few weeks I was super busy over winter break and getting back into schoolwork has been kind of rough. But I'm back and here to show that I have been doing things, but not on Meltdown! I've created a second project that I'm working on at the moment and all I can reveal is that it will be a 16 wool CTM map, I can tell nothing else. I have to be super vague at the moment because it is a secret, but I'm really excited to push it into motion and hope to get this map out by the end of 2016!
Since I can't go too much into specifics, I'll show a screenshot to end off. This is an intersection I've been working on all week and I'm decently happy with it but it is still WIP!
I'm loving the progress of the map so far! It reminds me of (especially that last picture of the intersection) more of a Ragecraft 2 type of feel; as in it looks very professional...I'm excited to see how it turns out.
