I am new in the CTM creation, and this is my first try to make a full CTM map. I started creating MiniCTM without much success because they have poor downloads. But now I know alot of mapmaking and I think that I am ready to make a full one. I might in the future make more maps, but I only have started one. I started my full map in february 2015 and I have finished 3 intersections and 8 areas (I don't know exactly).
*All the weapons and armor that you can find in the map are custom items.
*Alot of custom mobs
*Most of areas have a small story
*And lots of lots of weapons
-Based in Super Hostile Series rules
1) Find and complete the Monument.
2) Find the wools in specific chests (Fleecy Boxes) in each area of the map
3) Use at least Easy difficulty, and never Peaceful.
4) Do not cheat with villager trades
5) Do not leave the boundaries of the map.
6) Survive in any way you can think of.
7) You may use spider string wool and sheep wool to craft beds and other items, but not for the Monument.
8) You may not pick up, craft, or move Ender Chests.
9) Do not use cheats, mods or glitches that can give you advantages
10) Do not travel to the nether
You start your journey along this forgotten world destroyed by the void. The void is getting bigger and it's consuming any kind of life to transform it in the devil. You're the only one that can stop it, collecting the sacred wools in every corrupted kingdom. You're the last hope of this world, or the void will consume it...
Difficulty: 8/10 - More void = More deaths = More loot Style: Linear-Branching Objectives: 16 wools + bonus (???) Required Minecraft version: 1.8.8 Duration: ???

First picture looks pretty good and its a nice idea. The second picture is way too chaotic imo. too much going on and it doesn't make a bit of sense to me at all. Would tone that down a bit. The third picture I would take one of the blocks out as again its very very hectic.

Thanks for the feedback. I am working in a new area right now, I will try to post some screenshots
This is the loot structure. The colors means how good is the item, because you will find a small amount of repeated items. Almost all items are edited and unique for every area.
Basic
Uncommon (Good)
Rare (Really Good)
Epic (Epic)
Legendary (Best items, have an unique or really good feature)
Also, the map will have a quest, a long quest that you will finish when you finish the map
If you are still looking for ideas: an area I've always wanted to see in a CTM map is an underground jungle. Not a whole map obviously but an area would be cool.

And I was thinking in do a Jungle Oasis (like in a cave) in a Intersection 2 Wool called "Ruins in the Oasis. I have not started it yet but I know how I will do it

customized as in mods or vanilla? And are there traps and the like? Might want to make the name a bit more exciting, too.
Looking good so far
I'll be happy to beta test if you need beta testing
.
Nice, thanks for comment!, you're going to be a beta tester, I know that you're a really experienced CTM player, so you will try it as beta tester
Sorry but i don't know nothing about you

And here's a screenshot of intersection 3
Looks good but I see obvious brush strokes on second screenshot. And block variation is...meh. Looks like you just randomly mix different blocks.
Also area on last screenshot needs a bit more detail. Maybe...waterfalls.
Thanks, that is a great idea.
And I will change the images of main post because they look really bad (I'll keep screenshot 1)
First screenshot looks like very good I want to say.And "Fear The Void" reminds me of Sketch's Mini-CTM map "Gate Of The Void"
Ok, I am back on map making!
I made a new area for my map also: ( WIP area )
I also need help, because I have this area that I don't like too much, so... I should remove it?
Update #1 ( I think )
I made a progress meter to see how's going the map
And here's a screenshot of the latest area of the map
It just need more loot and spawners

very well
Thanks!
And here's MORE PROGRESS

Update #3
+Revamped the thread
+Added 2 old minimaps
+Working in a new area
