“A Resource Pack Demo” will provide all block, particle, a entity textures for your viewing. There is no section for biomes as of yet. Perhaps in the future as I’ve an idea, but it’s a clunky one that may not go over well. I suppose we’ll have to see then.
Updates are likely to come by what with Minecraft’s ever-evolving nature...and my ever-impatient mind when it comes to creative endeavors. Ergh. Ignore that, and apologies, my art side is trying to sour the mood.
Hello! I have a presentation/for-reference map that acts as a display for a resource pack. I am not sure if I should be this map here or in the other forum (“Resource Packs”), so feel free to direct me there if I am wrong for posting in the “Maps” sub-forums. It’s possible that there might be comparisons to that of “QMAGNET’S Resource Pack Test Map”, and that’s alright. Arguably, his map does indeed have more to offer in terms of content! I only hope that you all will see that I’ve taken a different approach to presenting a resource pack instead.
You may notice that I some of my default textures have been edited, and that is because I am using a compilation of three resource packs to, I suppose, liven Minecraft's original textures. These are calebmanley's "ImprovedDefault", enchilado's "Rakepack" , and _zombiehunter's "BETTER THAN DEFAULT". I've actually removed much of _zombiehunter's textures besides a select few, but that's just a personal thing. Actually, I think the screenshots I had taken may have been without "BETTER THAN DEFAULT" as I may have taken it out to edit it. Ah, well, now you know my "default" set-up.
This resource map has been a private world for myself for a while, and it actually had been transferred over from another world full of a variety of mis-matching ideas and creations. Sort of like a sketchbook, but this one page I had torn out and re-done! I do hope you find some interest in this, and I thank you for stopping by.
I wouldn't necessarily compare this to QMagnet's map. Yours is more straight forward - might be good if someone wants to get right to business and not wander around through a broader world. And you can always add features over time.
