Hey m0ndy, I've been playing on your map with a bunch of friends, and it's been absolutely fantastic. I don't even want to think about how much work went in to building this thing man, it's just insane. Well done.
There is one thing I'd like some help with though. We went to the nether, to kill the boss there, but as soon as we we entered the battle area, the boss simultaneously welcomed us, and died. We didn't even see him at all. Any ideas as to what went wrong?
We are playing in 1.11.
It sounds like the command blocks bugged out, which makes sense considering I'm not sure how well the map plays when taken to later versions. If you don't get any of the important blocks for the monument, you can cheat them in if something goes wrong. There is a list at the bottom of the original post that shows what blocks are awarded where. Thank you for posting. I appreciate the feedback.

Really enjoying this map, thank you! So many of the maps I've tried have had too much running around and dying, that gets very repetitive, so I'm enjoying taking my time with this one.
I just accidentally let the villager NPC escape from that monument with the columns (whose name I've forgotten) - I must have left the gate open. So my next task is seeing if I can find him - I was gone for ages so he could be anywhere.

But I'm trying to get the Magenta wool, which requires me to get Mycelium. Which in turn requires me to get Silk Touch. I want to know if I need to grind and get Silk Touch through normal enchanting, or is there an enchanted book somewhere I can find?

The OP says "use 1.8.3 or later". Does that mean all versions between 1.8.3 and 1.8.9? I'm assuming there are custom mobs, and the tags for held items are different.

I'm not familiar with the version history, but I think that is correct. 1.8.3 to 1.8.9. is likely the most playable range.

Yeah Minecraft came and went for me. It's still cool to hear the map is still holding people's attention. Unbelievable really.
To update it, seems like anything with command blocks would have to be fixed but I don't know the specifics of any of the changes. All the boss fights and locations run on command blocks, the monuments, teleporting, and a bunch of random side areas used command blocks too.
Making it was awesome, and the feedback has been great to hear. I'm glad I could provide a good time.

hello, i wanna play this map with my friends but i can't play this map properly like i placed wool at right place and nothing happened. and under the main temple dungeon which jeeves is in i can't find boss mob
of course i setted command block true. i don't know what it's problem my minecraft version is 1.13.2

The map was made for 1.8 and it has to be played on that version because 1.9 and then 1.13 changed completely the way command blocks and NBT data works on the game
Amazing map! but when i found the light blue wool and placed it in the monument nothing happened. Is there something i need to do to trigger the spawning of the chest for the light blue wool? please help

The map has been great so far, but most of the bosses are just skeletons, so they just die in the sun and stuff.
Their chat stuff is working, just not the armor.

How did you make the sky turn black? Did you use world edit to set the biome to "The End" or some other technique?
