Great job M0ndy! It's clear you spent a lot of time and attention to detail in this map. I love the open-world field, very satisfying and fun map to play!
Here's Episode #1 of a longe series we're starting featuring your map. Not a lot done the first day because we wanted to gear up a bit, but it's pretty much nonstop action after this point!
The name is a joke. I know of the wonder from Civilization V but our friend Brizol had a hard time pronouncing it in the intro.
PS: as a fellow map-maker I am very curious how much time it took you to make such a huge map. It must have taken ages as a single-person job, even with MCEdit and WorldEdit tools. The dedication is real!
Space Expedition to EPIC 204:Go on a Space-Age Adventure to visit and explore EPIC 204, a wacky world of dense asteroids and full of alien life! Experience Custom Seasons, Weather, Over 50 new creatures, Beautiful Biomes, Alien Ruins, Dungeons, and new space age tech crafting recipes!

Hey M0ndy I cant even imagine the effort that went in to this. All i can say is thank you for building it!. many endless hours of fun!
Here is my POV first episode. chilling with Danaphanous :-)
Hopefully you have a good play through. Multiplayer can be a bit buggy but things are easily fixed. The project took over a year as life tended to get in the way as it does. And yes there is a LOT of meticulous detail in the builds. Thank you for stopping by to the thread and for the kind words. Enjoy.
hello, your maps is fabulous, but i have a problem, i am in the monument "stone edge" and i'm dead in nether, but when return i'm tp in other portal, you have a solution for me ?
PS:i play in minecraft 1.8.8
Go into gamemode 3 and go up until you reach the surface. The correct area of the nether has no ceiling
Next Episode of our playthrough is out! Today we take on Ixion and strike diamonds!
Next Episode we set out on our epic journey to find adventure in these surrounding deserts. This map just gets better and better.
Hope you guys enjoy.

We traveled to the forest, gathered a bit of wood, and then I went back to a small indent I had seen in the sand and dug down.
I hit a cave that had well over 20 diamonds, presumably hundreds of iron deposits, and plenty of coal.
We got to a miniture stonehenge and a small cabin with a zombie spawner in a tagia before quitting until we could get more info because we had gotten full enchanted diamond gear and horses (one of which was Euros) through a couple other open caves before we even faced the first dungeon/wonder.

Is this normal?!
Yes, ores are increased as I hoped to encourage exploration as opposed to grinding. The typical CTM experience is meant to be tough on gear, but I don't want players grinding for upgrades. You may be looking for more of a challenge, so I'd say try to only use custom gear that you find. There are a lot of unique weapons and armor sets with special attributes and properties you may not have seen before, so see what you can find. Let me know how it goes.
I am 53, i started playing MC a couple of years ago for a bit of a laugh.
I got quite addicted, although I used to play in "peaceful" mode.
I liked exploring the caves that I found.
THEN recently I found the Wayward Wonders map
My Goodness!!
What a Map!!
Thank You!!
Anyway, now that I have got that out of the way (LOL)
My first attempt at the map was fun, but i realised that my strategy was all wrong.
I just went walking about and found most of the buildings, with no real hard work farming or whatever.
could never get very far and kept dying/respawning with nought.
This time round I have buit a (IMHO) superb farm near the trophy room.
Much better.
HOWEVER ( and this is the point for my post )
In the first attempt, I found a staircase in one of the villages that lead to a dungeon with loads of books.
After exploring the surrounding caves I stumbled upon an Underground area with convex tower blocks.
I got killed by the blaze!!
I have never been able to find it again ( Boo Hoo )
I want to go back now i have armour and a Better Bow and kill the4 b'std
Can you help?
Hey! Thank you so much for your post. Means a lot. Sorry for getting back to you a little late. I'm glad you're having a good time though. Anyway, if you could give me more info on the location you're talking about, I can help you out. There are a few locations with books.
Edit: On second thought, I think you might be talking about a location slightly east of the monument (trophy room). The huge open underground with the lava and hole-filled floor and tall stone towers to the surface? Travel a little east checking holes in the surface for huge drops to almost bedrock level.
Great map so far but I think I'm currently facing a bug... I play with a friend on a server, and it's now been at least 30 minutes that we continuously hit MirJafar with our Diamond Swords. I think they'll break soon... ._.
Is there a problem with our way of trying to kill it ? Is it impossible this way ? Or did we do something that made him unkillable ?
If your DPS isn't high enough, his regeneration will restore more health than the damage you can do. I've seen players take him down quickly with Bane of Arthropods. Still seems strange to have trouble with two people though. I think typing a kill command wouldn't hurt. If I remember correctly, something like /kill @e [Name=MirJafar]
Yep, killed it with a /kill command. Worked perfectly fine !
We just now completed the map (wonder blocks only, we still miss a lot of wools) and it was just great ! That was really a good map ! Thanks a lot !
We just had a little bug at the end when placing the wonder blocks. The Grand Canyon and Babylone ones didn't launch a firework and the access to the end of the game didn't pop. I looked and saw that the two gold blocks weren't replaced by Redstone ones. Don't really know why.
We tried to break the block we had placed on the monument and place another wonder block but it didn't work any better...
Enventually I replaced the gold blocks myself and we could finish the map. The final fight was just great !!

So... In the Pit, which I believe is the reference to batman (underground prison that you get teleported to in middle of desert, you have to climb out) there is a hole outside of the world...
Regardless to say I fell down it and lost my best gear and several adventure blocks. The map is really great but I'm just wondering why include a death hole that you can't see because there is water there? :/
I want to complete it but honestly that just curbed my interest, losing all of my things in such a way that I can't come back from (no commands on).

max player ?
as many as you want. tends to be more buggy the more people you have, but it's doable
First of all, thank you m0ndy for make this awesome CTM, I love it!
My problem is, well, there are two Thrax:
Haha well that's the first time I've seen that. Seems like a job for a creative mode slaying of one of them. Sorry bout that =P
I forgive you
Is really strange because the first and second time that I tried to beat the Thrax were only one. Mitosis?
So, I tried playing it again with my brother.

I'm a pixel artist who makes pixel things and maps! I also do line art occasionally.
I have two work in progress resource packs!
This is the second one!
And of course, by "work-in-progress" I mean "will never, ever be completed".

Just got. Very excited. Been looking for something like this for a long time
Thank you!!

Maybe this place?
I thought the same thing, and this location is west of the Mausoleum/monument
Epic place, by the way.
