Could we get some kind of guide for locations (or something along those lines) for the side quests?
My friend and I are powering through the main Wonders, and checking out wool as we come along them, but I'm largely interested in some of the side quests.
Thanks!

I've playing wayward wonders, such a nice map, and the last time i've entered the map most of the map exclusive items in my inventary were gone,
the question is, there's any way to craft them? most of them were potions but the arjuna's bow and the flawless axe make a big diference when exploring
Anyway, the map is awesome, you've done a great job B)B) congrats

The items are not craftable. Sounds like you had a change of game version. But thank you! I hope you continue to enjoy it
Wow. I've played this map for about 5 hours now and only discovered two of the sights.
Not only is this the best user made map that I've ever downloaded, it is in general the best gaming experience I've ever had with Minecraft at all. Really awesome. I would definitely pay for maps of this quality.
Thanks for making it and sharing it with us.
One thing that came to my mind: In my opinion it would be better to upload this with cheats enabled, so people could do things like "/gamerule keepInventory true" because it's quite unpleasant to loose the epic loot you have fought for before. No big deal though, I just used NBTExplorer to enable cheats.
Again: Thanks, I'm looking forward to continue playing now.

P.S.: It's not in the same league at all, but in case you're super bored sometimes you might try my first (and only) adventure map.
That's awesome. Thank you for letting me know you're enjoying it. I left cheats disabled because I think it forces the player to give the map an honest try. I've ruined a few games by enabling cheats so I guess no cheats is my way of forcing the player to get more fun out of the map. Regardless, I think opening the world up to LAN is an easy step to enabling cheats instead of NBT editing.
That's true, I prefer beating a game without cheats, too. Some of the bosses are really tough, though, and I'd have no idea of how to beat them without the option of /keepInventory and a teleport option to the "latest death" (Xaeros minimap has that option).
This is an actual spoiler:
That guy in the pyramid for example, he's self healing so fast and keeping me away from him with his arrows that I couldn't have killed him without cheats.
Anyway, I'm still enjoying the map a lot.
It's also difficult because I've received feedback on both ends. Some say bosses are too easy, some say they're impossible. Hard to know where everyone is coming from.
Maybe they're not impossible if you've spent a long time aquiring high level enchanted equipment, but then I would have to visit all the sights again to be able to actually fight the bosses.
Anyway, you can't please everybody, I guess, and the middle ground you went for is probably suitable for most players. And there's always the option of cheating.
Yea. I've changed a bunch of things based on feedback as well. Thanks for stopping by
Man, this map is so good! I've been playing it for about 20 hours now and haven't even completed 30% of the quests, leave alone all the sidequests.
You're a really good level/game designer. Not only does the map have spectecular buildings and sights, there's also a lot to discover on every corner and you made completing the quests very rewarding.
"Whoever has this stick controls the universe." Brilliant.
I was about to put something precious in this chest on the mountain, going through my inventory and considering what to put in, when a creeper sneaked up on me and everything exploded, including the chest!! I was happy to have taken the wool out before! Classic gaming moment.
Thanks for coming by again to post. I love hearing it's enjoyable. I hope it continues till the end.
Wow! This map is absolutely amazing so far. My only problem is that I swear I have fully explored the underground village area, but I haven't found the wool in the area. It's sort of stressing me out since I bought the wool locations book but can't locate the wool in that area. (I found the easter egg too. Really interesting...)
(Multi-quote replies aren't working right now for some reason.)
ave now most of the wool blocks and just found that underground city. That looks very cool also, very atmospheric. Seems like little Skyrim reference (blackreach?) with all the Skyrim themed armor sets you put there. Haven't found the wool there yet, but I'm enjoying to explore the area. One of my favourite locations in the map for sure.
Imagine the role-playing aspect and combat mechanics of Skyrim combined with the open world possibilities of Minecraft. That would be the ultimate game.
I still have most of the "wonders" on my to-do list, even after playing for ... some 25 hours or even longer.
How long did it take you to complete this map?
Took over a year. School came first, on and off =P
have another problem.
It seems like mobs have a hard time detecting me, even when I'm right next to their face.
I don't know how you're playing, but I've encountered this when I go in and out of creative. It's like mobs don't know whether to attack or not.

Hi there!
I'm playing this map for a while now and I must say that it's one of the best maps I ever played
buuuuut (there's always a "but") I killed Minos (Hanging Gardens of Babilon) and the block did not spawn. What block should I use?
Thanks ;D

Thanks! Great to hear. Block of lapis

Haha
AWESOME!
What's the shader pack in that picture?
I'm just wondering, I like shader packs ;P
The items are not craftable. Sounds like you had a change of game version. But thank you! I hope you continue to enjoy it
I believe it's some version of Sildur's shaders
This is not a mistake. It is later replaced by another block. Thank you for taking the time to post though. I appreciate the feedback!

I got the wool coordinates book to look for the yellow wool, it didn't help and i've been looking for days, plz help
The village, which I hope you found, is atop the bedrock caves. Go look underground in them!
Yea. I've changed a bunch of things based on feedback as well. Thanks for stopping by
I'm glad you like it. What color wool are you looking for?
So... Who Potentially Wants to play and maybe record this awesome looking map
Are all the chests supposed to be empty? I'm getting a lot of empty chests, that would seem to have loot in them.
Must be a version problem. Make sure you're in 1.8.3 or later, and don't backdate once you load it up
oh alright, b/c the server im using is for 1.7.10 and 1.8
Thanks for coming by again to post. I love hearing it's enjoyable. I hope it continues till the end.

Look for a path in the lava
Hey Mondy,
AWESOME MAP! This by far the best map I have ever played on Minecraft.
I am playing with no cheats and am about half way thru with the wools and blocks.
I have one problem, I found the yellow wool, came back to the Monument to place it, placed it and nothing happened.
I brought back 4 pieces, so I tried another and still nothing happened.
I acquired it legit and can place it there, but don't I need the command message and the chest to get the bonus in the end?
Than you very much, Rick
