I've been away from Minecraft for quite a while. Found out about this map quite out of the blue a few days ago while browsing reddit. A brief look at it and I knew that I had to play it. So here's my LP
P.S. Can anyone help me out on how to find the mossy cobblestone? I think I read in this thread somewhere that I had to look around Pickaxe mountain. Well, I've gone around the mountain 4/5 times and I've not seen any hint of mossy cobble. I did find enough vine and rope to continue the quest but I'm kinda sad that I never did the quest the intended way, which was by deconstructing mossy cobble.
P.P.S. Same request for the slime patch seen in the trailer. No idea where that can be either

The mossy cobblestone should be a little north of your ship. Not too far away. The slime patch was west of your ship, I believe, though it MAY be east. The slime patch comes a little after a roasting pig. (And just in case you don't know how to find direction, F3, so I don't have to post again.) Hope I helped!

North is towards the nose of the ship, right? Only asking because you sound confused regarding east/west. I did find the pig, that's where I got the extra rope from. Will check farther out. Thanks for the help

I think so. Just in case, just press F3 while playing to view the debug stats, which will show the direction you're facing. (On some computers, F3 does something else by default, like change the volume. In that case, press Shift + F3 or Fn + F3.)
Hey samasaurus6 please help!!! Logdotzip released a Planetary Confinement video with a command that fixed the sieve!!! But I can't find it again!!
Please write and help me PLZ!!!!!!
That's only a fix for him because he is using Forge. All you need to do is be using Java 8 and the sieve will work after 5 minutes or so. More info is just below the first reply of the post.
A couple more questions. Hopefully, I'm not being annoying.
What is that marble portal thingy with black swirly glass near that hill with all the ores? I... um... kinda...well... broke all the glass because I was curious. And now I'm afraid I broke some nifty little secret or something
And what is that 4 door trap a little distance from Pickaxe mountain? I trapped a zombie in there to see if anything happens but I couldn't see anything.

The "portal-thingy", like a lot of other things in the map, is probably just a random thing in the middle of nowhere. (There are some others.) Just a fun fact, the portal's texture is the same as the Space-Rift's texture (if you've encountered one of those yet) and the actual block is packed ice. The trap? I actually haven't seen this before, but likely just another random thing.
This is a spoiler that relates to Lord of the Rings, in some way.
There's a random dead-looking person at the top of a volcano holding a ring. Another random thingy.

Yeah there isn't really a reason for them or use. I feel like I should've added a secret Easter egg for them and plan on doing some awesome things for the next Planetary Confinement map.

Space rift's are actually the most common occurrence for me. They're so annoying with that silly mining fatigue
I didn't find any volcano yet. Any hints on which way it is? My guess would be beyond the dunkingirl hole since I haven't explored that side much.
One question: Did samasaurus give all the normal mobs slowness or something?
This map is the first time I'm playing Minecraft in almost a year and the main thing I noticed during combat is that the mobs are so much slower. Zombies and Creepers definitely used to be faster, Endermen used to be more aggressive when hit. And when I approached skeletons even from the back, they would've landed at least 2 shots before I even reached sword striking distance.
In this map, I can sword spam Endermen without taking any hits and can approach a skeleton from the front and kill them with a sword without them even firing at me.
The only mobs that are still the same are those tiny zombies and spiders (minus the custom web laying bit).
Just so we're clear, I've always played on normal difficulty and this map is also on normal.

I've noticed the odd reaction of the mobs as well, I'm really not sure why it's like that. Endermen, it can be explained a bit because the Space Helmet is a pumpkin, and Endermen are less hostile when you're wearing a pumpkin, but the other mobs, I don't really know. Some mobs have been "edited", the spider placing webs an example, it may be caused by that. (Other mobs are different as well, the Witch being an Alien, Creepers having a chance to drop seeds or saplings, and Skeletons turning into Wither Skeletons instead of burning in the daylight.)
The volcano should be really far north, and then a little to the left. It's been a while since I've played the map though, might be the opposite direction.
