To elaborate on what Laura mentioned in her recent episode, this is indeed a really good map for beginners. It's very forgiving. It barely contains any void/lava regions, hence, in case of death, players should be able to reclaim their belongings with no problem. And even if they run out of time or have some sort of an accident, the sheer amount of strategic resources and loot allow to fully recover with minimal effort. Give it a go, guys!
My playthrough of the beta test continues to go very well! I'll say this; you guys should totally download Ragequit Avenue #2 when it's released. It's a really fun map for beginners and CTM veterans alike.

I wander through CTM maps, getting lost, fighting monsters, and somehow accomplishing things. I'm never too sure how, but I do. Come join me, pets!
Hey everyone! I have two big announcements to make today.
Ragequit Avenue #2 - The Black Crystals was released today for open-beta, remember you are TESTING the map so please give me feedback. Also, remember that this map is intended for beginners so if you find it easy I've done my job
Like I said, I'm loving the Black Crystals so far. The start doesn't feel a whole lot easier than Shambhala's, which for me is a good thing.
The 'complains' though remain the same. Of course, everything below is just a matter of personal opinion,
I'd really like to get more armor and arrows in loot chest pre intersection 1. Especially arrows. You give us multiple bows but very few arrows (unless I missed some combat supply chest?) Honestly, grinding spawners for arrows so early in the game doesn't feel right.
An again, the monument area isn't secure. Nor you can really secure all the way to the I1, because the area with brick road is so huge. Not a biggie, but transporting inventory was a bit tedious due to this combined with lack of good gear. Not challenging, just slowed down my progress through the map.
