Nice then! I will practice a bit with other CTM maps, just for making sure this is not my first contact with a CTM map and get in trouble very fast. xD
Seeya!
Hey, just letting you know that the second map will be ready for you to test soon (that's if you still want to). So.....yeah, just wanted to let you know.
Aw, I'm sure I'll enjoy it! There's nothing wrong with an "easier" CTM. For one thing, everyone has a different definition of easy. For another thing, I tend to avoid "hard" CTM's because they get me so annoyed. LOL I'm willing to LP it, if you still want me to.

Just wanted to say, I'm really enjoying my RE-play of Finding Shambhala! It's lots of fun, even while I'm cursing various mobs... Anybody who hasn't tried this map really should give it a whirl.

Finally I have finished the map. Needless to say, I had lots of fun!
As I promised, here's my review/commentary. Please remember everything below is personal opinion. Overall, I really enjoyed the map and wouldn't be bothered to comment otherwise.
I'll start with things I liked:
The aesthetics. Not overdone to the point the gameplay becomes secondary, just neat enough to please the eye.
I think the resources and the loot were distributed well. Some might say that having cows and chickens at the first intersection is a bit OP, however, you don't really have to farm them if that’s your take on the subject. Personally, I really hate low saturation food so I did take the time to farm the animals and get a good food source. Yet, it cost me time and effort, so it's not for someone who wants to finish the map in a few hours.
Some custom items are pretty powerful and might be considered OP by experienced players. Begging bowl and self-healing boots in particular. I loved the bowl. Hands down the best item in the map. It saves a lot of time while moving between areas, intersections etc and, again, you don't have to use it to escape monsters if you don't want to. The boots come late enough when armor quality shouldn't matter all that much. I did decide not to use them though. +5 hearts felt quite unbalanced while later areas weren't that though anyway.
Other than that, strategic resources and loot scale up with difficulty pretty well.
Teleporters - they are truly awesome and make moving from base to base so much easier and less demoralizing.
The difficulty was spot on for me. Not a hard map, but you will die if you take it too easy or make too many mistakes.
Things I liked less:
I've got a little frustrated with monument appearing so late. While putting up with temporary bases is somewhat a must have in CTM maps, not having a centralized location that you can go back to for the good 70% of the map was quite inconvenient.
I also didn't like the fact the monument wasn't well lit. Intersections were underlit as well, but that's less critical. Lighting them up isn't challenging at all - just absolutely necessary and annoyingly time consuming.
I felt like variety was not the strongest side of this map. And by that I mean most of the areas are just big caves with nearly max to max spawns and some spawners scattered around you need to grind through. The looks and custom spawners are different, the rest is the same. Personally, I enjoy this kind of areas the most, so it was not a biggie for me, but I would understand if others find them somewhat repetitive.
Few minor points that didn’t have a big impact on the gameplay, yet are worth mentioning, IMO:
I’d like to have more combat supplies, especially arrows. I ended up making skelly grinder, something I’d rather skip in CTM map.
I’d space out different areas. They are big enough not to affect spawn rates, however, hearing irrelevant ghasts every time you enter an intersection or crossing an unrelated area was slightly annoying. With teleporters I think you can afford increasing the distance between dungeons.
Bottom line, you did a great job with the map - I enjoyed it a lot. And I am looking forward to playing the next one. Thanks and good luck!

Thanks so much for the helpful feedback. I think a bunch of the things you mentioned have been fixed in my second map. Glad you had fun!
Mr. Doo (as I call this mapmaker) has told me I can tease you guys. Let's just say, this map-maker is not a one trick pony... if you guys are curious, Mr. Doo and I have plans to give you guys a peek into this new map... soon, my friends.
Anyone around here looking for a black crystal? I might be able to help with that...

I don't think you'll have much trouble, it's a much easier map. Probably easier than sunburn islands. Hope you still have fun ;D
