Hi, I'm rogermiranda1000.
I've seen all the movies of Alien and the movie of Prometeus, and I asked me: "why not try an Alien's adventure map in my favorite game?"
And here I am, I recorded a video and I'm the only, or one of the few Spanish people who has played this intcreivle map, I leave my video if they are interested.
PS: It's in Spanish
I am playing the sequel (Alien Colonization and the Alien would not despawn. It was just chilling for like hours as I hid in a room. I got annoyed so my friend and I killed it. Will this mess up the map (I am aware of the command blocks that respawn it later in the map) but will it make the room I am in easy or will it come back??
Can this be updated to 1.9 so my cousin and I can record a video on it? The free server program is too slow to run the map, so we're planning to use our trials for Minecraft realms, which isn't backwards compatible. So, if possible, can this be uploaded to 1.9?
(BTW I played this in singleplayer, and it's amazing. Can't wait for a sequel!)
I played with my son and it was a very fun experience. The map is a little buggy such as there is a double chest in one part with the default MC texture and on one load of the map I could not see the space suits in the air locks on the armor stands.
Aside from the bugs which in all fairness did not take away from the experience of the map it was a lot of fun. You had a few good jump scares, the expectation that the alien would come out at anytime an kill you was great! The androids were a little annoying in that they took forever to kill, maybe more androids next time with less health? I was really getting in to until I saw that the alien was a skeleton horse, then the game went from scary to really funny. Maybe not what you were going for but it was great all the same.
My son's and myself's most favorite part for setting was the reactor. The textures of the chests were very well done in the HD pack along with all the other additional textures. \
My son and I have been playing MC for a few years now and we really enjoy co-op adventure/horror maps.It is obvious you have spent a lot of time on this project. Do not take my nit picking as a negative review, very much the opposite! We would all to happy to play your next adventure. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of your adventures for MC.
