The Crystal Depths is a two-hour long adventure/puzzle map set beneath the sea. The journey features a number of unique encounters, including an ice puzzle reminiscent of Pokemon, a fully customized boss battle, and an upgrade system involving banners. The map is of medium difficulty (but contains no parkour!) and is designed for 1-2 players.

Great map as usual Versepelles. Took me about 2 hours after all.
Some quick feedback:
The minecart sounds made the rides an unpleasant experience, I don't think there is a way to fix this without turning down other nicer sounds though. The trips also felt a bit long.
Getting multiples of each key was slightly annoying, but not really a problem at all.
When the first key spawned a guardian, I had no way of killing it and it despawned. I held on to the other keys when I got them until I found the sword. Killing them after that was a little too easy. Perhaps give the player a weaker weapon to kill the first one with? Spawning multiples would also make it more challenging.
The teleport book does not appear to work, clicking on its links resulted in "(Trigger Name) not enabled" messages.
All the puzzles were great, only problem I had was with the FOV change on the ice puzzle.
The boss fight felt a bit easy, much easier than the Crystal Tower boss. I only got damaged from the "suffocation" affect of being round the guardian. The visual effects of his attacks were great, but none of them seemed to damage me (I could just be good at avoiding them). His ice move was amazing, it looked great and I could see the potential for it to hurt me if I stood still.
Thanks for the feedback. As for the boss fight being easy, a new map is in progress which will feature Boss battles as the main attraction, and those should pose a significant challenge.
I just finished the map myself. Overall, I was kind of disappointed about the lack of "puzzles." The ice one was fun, but a pain with the FOV effect (cleverly done though), but most of the challenges were just "look through this large area to find the few things you need." The boss battle was over quickly (I also seemed to be skilled at dodging the attacks), especially with the potions. I never could figure out the enchanting system as I never could find half the ingredients. Are those in there yet, or will they be added in later?
I do have to say, the design was beautiful. I love your usage of the new blocks in better ways than I've seen so far.
Thanks for the feedback, that is similar to the way I felt about the map at the end. It is fairly difficult to make substantial changes on a map of that scale.
The ingredients for the Aqua Forge were all available, but sometimes a bit hidden. All in all, the forge was meant to aid those needing help with the boss, rather than be a requirement.
The map overall showcases so many of the awesome features from 1.8 and I really enjoyed it. As others have said, though, collection of multiple keys was a little annoying but overall, a great and well made map.

When I try putting key two into the gold block area in the beginning it clicks twice and says it needs a key even though I have it. I KNOW ITS IM AT THE RIGHT BUTTON, BECAUSE I ALREADY TURNED IN THE OTHER 3 KEYS.
This may be a bit of bad design on my end; I allowed the keys to respawn, so that if a player accidentally dropped one, they wouldn't be stuck. However, this may be confusing if you pick up multiple copies of the same key. So, you probably picked up one key 1, two key 2s, one key 3, and zero key 4s. Apologies for the inconvenience!
I'm playing with my sister, and we got all 4 keys, but there's nothing to do with them. the gold blocks do nothing, and throwing them has them despawning almost instantly. help please!
