@primco You should play it on 1.10.2, and the logspam shouldn't be an issue. It isn't actually doing that much, its mainly scoreboard commands, effects, and the one clone command. I've run it on a server without issues.
@Chronicler: I enjoyed the last episode and the series. I liked the custom mob discussion in the video as well and agree with most of what you mentioned. I'm going to keep it in mind for future maps. Thanks again for you work making those videos, it's always a treat to see people play my maps.

Thanks for the reply but the console log is 1mb after about 1 minute of uptime. This is not the sort of growth that is normal for a minecraft console log. Having this on a long-running server is not good. I found a way to stop the spam:

/gamerule commandBlockOutput false
/gamerule logAdminCommands false
Ah I see your issue then. Thanks for posting your solution, I will keep that in mind for the future if anyone else has issues. commandBlockOutput should be set to false by default in the map, but the other one I wasn't aware of.
I just wanted to mention here I am a big fan of Horizon's Edge! Moldy, you did a great job on this CTM map. Definitely gets my two thumbs up! It was mentioned in my comments I should post here that I am doing a play through right now of Horizon's Edge on my YouTube channel.
Don't want to plug myself on the thread too much, so be sure to keep an eye on my playlist too for new episodes. New episodes will be out every Friday.

Mitch Plays - Minecraft and Modded Minecraft Let's Plays!
Hello everyone! Just updated the thread to include my latest jam map: Forest's Heart!
I'm very happy with how this one turned out. I also wanted to thank everyone who has checked out Horizon's Edge, which is now the most popular map I've made! Thanks for all of the support, and I hope you all enjoy the new map
Thanks for the video! I was looking forward to seeing you take on the map. It is a difficult map but I don't think it will be as difficult once you get yourself established
I think the main issue was that you missed a couple of early chests and rushed into a really dangerous area. Now that you're getting geared up again the map should feel more like the difficulty it is meant to be. Looking forward to more episodes!

Definitely seems to be the case. There was some decent stuff I missed for sure (which I get to in episode 4).
You already seem to be in a better spot than before. Your stuff shouldn't be hard to get to and you have a decent amount of gear. The enchanting table should help too. Your comment about the thumbnails made me laugh, and I agree you may need more than 8.

I managed to recover most, if not all, of it off-camera, as well as take care of the spawners around there. Judging by how things are looking, I could need as many as 20 thumbnails. x_x
That episode turned out better than expected. With your comment earlier I was sure you were going to die at some point. I'm impressed you managed to get out of a lot of those situations alive.

That still wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Those drops in the second area can be really tough. If you had been able tunnel into the wall there you probably would've been ok.

Without a doubt, yeah. But, tunneling wouldn't have been very fun.

You seem to be making some progress into the second area. You had a much easier time getting into it than Aura did.
Oh, just you wait. Just. You. Wait.

Here's where things got bad (for a bit, anyway):
