After two years of development, today we are proud to introduce...
TRAILER:
ABOUT: You find yourself in the once great city of Arxon, which has been completely abandoned after everything went downhill. The city needs your help to return to its former glory.
"The Parkour Map Project" is a series of maps created and produced by Matixpulse & Bogigafy. In these maps we aim to stray away from your average square room parkour. Instead these maps are very story-driven where each and every jump is set in detailed scenery that cries to be explore.
Even the worst at parkour can play this map. We included a "training camp" within the map that will teach and prepare you for every other jump in the map. So by simply playing the map, you are being trained to be better and eventually become a pro, at parkour yourself. Oh, and there's a parkour boss battle too...
RULES:
1. Read the Arxon Manual
(provided in map)
2. Don't place or break any blocks
(in adventure mode this should not be a problem)
3. Play in peaceful difficulty
4. Play in adventure mode
(Type "/gamemode a" to confirm)
5. Don't use commands for teleporting
6. The Arxon Resource Pack is required and mandatory to play the map
- Server Specific Rules -
7. Set up server with Command blocks turned on
(without this the map will NOT work)
8. Turn off spawning of passive / hostile mobs
(there is a gamerule check in game for you)
Bonus goal:
There are tons of hidden treasures hidden throughout the map for the player to find.

Firstinline's Grand ole playthrough of the map. His swift-cuts and clean edits make for an enjoyable series altogether! Here's one of my favourites Episode 6!
SplitSkinCraft's Playthrough, warning this one is probably not safe for work, a bit of rage may be imminent! Here's Episode 1!
jDantastic's playthrough! This one is really cool because he uses a facecam, and you can really see him rage when failing jumps! It's Hilariously awesome. Here's Episode 1:
Nova Atdosk's playthrough, probably the most real of the playthroughs that I have seen. He makes no cuts and spends a lot of time looking around. If you want a real sense of exploration while playing the map I'd highly suggest this one! Here's Episode 1:
DOWNLOAD: {until further notice, play Arxon: A City In Peril only on snapshot 14w21b, as later versions are bugged thus breaking the map, and earlier versions do not carry the features required for the map}

Thanks for playing the map man! It's really great to see each individual choice you make when playing. This kind of thing really helps us see into the mind of the player and will hopefully allow us to make even better maps in the future. We left some more detailed comments on the video, but eagerly waiting for that second episode ^_^.
