The following maps are designed to challenge and improve your archery skills. They feature a scoreboard so that you can challenge your friends to beat your score, and an adjustment mechanism to allow you to shoot at your pace. Be sure to check out the guidebooks ingame for more instruction. Please have fun with these maps! Basic
Time to challenge your friend to a duel! Every time one of you scores a successful hit, a volley of arrows are fired at the other one of you. !!WARNING!! If you use a render distance of less than 10 this map may break !!WARNING!!
I plan on making more variations if this series takes off. Feel free to discuss any variations that you think would be fun down in the comments. Brief Guide
The first thing to do to play the map is to go to the signup range. To get there, follow the path under the bows like in the screenshot at the top.Now you will see 4 buttons on your right, each one will send you to a bow range of different distances. If it sounds more difficult, the distance to shoot is longer. Press one of them to get started. If there is not a round going already (on multiplayer), you will be teleported to the bow range as soon as you press the button. If it is not the PvP map, you will immediately receive a bow and wool will start disappearing downrange to give you opportunities to shoot the buttons that are normally hidden behind the wool. Shooting those buttons is how you score points. If it is the PvP map, your opponent will have to press the button to challenge you in the back of the signup range before the round can begin. Also in the PvP map, whenever you score a hit on one of the buttons, a volley of arrows are blindly fired at your opponent. When the time is up, or your opponent dies in PvP, you will be teleported back to the market where you started and you will receive some nether stars based on which difficulty you chose. The nether stars are the currency of the map, and you can use them to buy food from certain villagers.See the in-game guidebook for a more information on the rest of the map.
