I Gotta say R3d, I am a huge fan of your work, Hopefully Exodus Season 3 is as extreme and amazing as your other maps xD
Best wishes.
And one more question, Will you be having any beta testers or anything like that for season 3? Just curious because i may attempt. Again, Fantastic work as always!

Yes there will be beta testers for season 3. There will have to be sense it will have almost 30~40 paths the story could take and that would be quite a feat to beta test all on my own. Thanks for playing! Be sure to check out season 2 and Exodus Quarantine if you haven't already!
Exodus Season 3 is in full build phase now... and it is huge. Very huge... like gigantic city plus surrounding terrain huge...
I've been thinking about the themes that my upcoming project, Exodus
Season 3: Genesis explores. I've had the overall story idea for some
time now, but events over the last few months (In the world as a whole)
have left me wondering if it's still an appropriate topic to explore.
The main theme in question is TERRORISM and how it originates. (The
"Terrorists" in Exodus 3 do not represent any real people, groups or
countries, and bare little resemblance aside from them being humans.)
While this a very prevalent theme in today's society I don't know if it
would be appropriate for kids (Around the age of 10 or so) to see and
experience the story that I am telling. At the end of the day the map
will end in a "happy ending" where the evil characters get what they
deserve. But people will still have to go through the dark story that
will challenge them morally in order to get the satisfaction of seeing
the villain(s) lose at the end of the day.
I likely will keep going with the story I have planned, I just wonder
if I should tone back some of the darker elements I have planned. The
worst thing in the story related to this theme is "Semi-strategic
bombings that put civilians in harms way".
Hey Red, I'm making an adventure map myself. Some of the stuff in your map was really cool, and I was wondering if I could borrow some of the ideas, like the movie theater, so long as I give you credit in the map. Thanks for an epic map series btw.
my in game name is the same name as my minecraft fourm username witch is arikoslov. and when 1.9 doesn't release when the map is released will it be instead in 1.8 just wondering

No it would be in the snapshots. Thats how I did Exodus Season 1. I released it in the snapshots for 1.8 a year and a half ago. Plus the new 1.9 command blocks make it the redstone very compact and user friendly. There are also one or two sequences in season 3 that need the Elyctra in order to work properly.
thanks. can't wait for teaser 3 for exodus season 3 to come out. what will it feature this time?
It'll be a while till the third teaser for season 3. The first teaser hinted at one of the villains. The second teaser reveals the dangerous rebel group known as the Phoenix division and hints at their goals. The third will show the governments view and also tease one of the most anticipated events that was hinted at in Exodus season 2. A lot more will also be revealed but it'll be a while till the map is built enough for the teaser.
in exodus season 3 will there be a boss fight between r3d (not you the evil one in the map) and the producer?
Now if I told you that, it might be a spoiler. But knowing that many people have a grudge against the evil me, I'll say that fans won't be disappointed when they confront him. There is a lot of build up to that scene and depending on your decisions, it will be a satisfying event.
ok but what about paul opuretine will their be a boss fight for him?
It all depends on the decisions you make. You might fight him, or you might not. It depends if you join his cause or if you don't. I will say, that even though Paul Oupintire may seem like the potential "Big Bad Guy" along with the Host, there are two other characters who might actually be the two real "evils". Again it all depends on who / when you side with, due to the decisions you make.
But because Season 3 is the conclusion to the series, all characters will have their story arc's completed. Whether they fight the producer and go down in a blaze of glory or survive the map, it will entirely depend on the decisions they make.
For instance you meet a character in Episode 2. He/She has the possibility of dying in episode 3. But if the player makes a certain decision, this character will still be alive in Episode 4 and could change the entire outcome of the story.
in exodus season 3 will you start out in the white room? and will there be a president for the government? if so then who is it? and what type of army do the government have?
in exodus season 3 will you start out in the white room? and will there be a president? if so then who is it? and what type of army do they have?
Yes. You do start off in the white room but are broken out by a character. As you escape you realize who was really keeping you captive. The president does make an appearance however is quite brief. She has not been in any of the other maps but has been alluded to and referenced as one of the masterminds behind the secret operation that took place in season 2. As for the army, it's the Union Government. It's basically a highly militarized world government. The president is at the head of this organization. (These were the soldiers in Exodus Season 2)
Okay cool! Looking foward to playing your maps!
