Good Job! nice! Yeah you are supposed to craft and repair items with anvils and crafting tables! That's the main reason I give experience to players at the end of the map! Thanks for playing!!


I got some new recording software that works much better than what I had for the map trailer. I'm going to re-film the Behind the Scenes video that I made yesterday. I'll edit it and post it sometime tonight/tomorrow. I will go into detail about how I did some of the redstone and what you can expect going forward with updates and Season 2!

Thanks for the play-through! I loved the part where you couldn't figure out what to do with the book. (Its just a useless item! You can't do anything with it. The reason you couldn't use it on the crafting table was because the book wasn't enchanted by an enchantment table)

Concerning the bit where the spawning messed up... It's a known bug that wasn't there in testing. I'm not sure why it's acting up but it will be fixed in the next update. You didn't miss much, pretty much you just do one more area with a minor boss and then get to your car ending the episode.

I have released version 1.1 of the map!

In this update major bugs with a spawn-point in episode 1 have been fixed. Not sure what was wrong with the command block but it's working correctly now.

A few minor changes occurred with text, titles, and item placement! If you haven't given the map a try be sure to do so!

Thanks again for all the downloads and as of right now we are close to 300 downloads of Exodus!

Hey! Thanks for supporting the map! That's a ton of kills! I didn't even realize there were that many mobs! I thought it was roughly around 2000 in total!

Did you play with version 1.1? I updated the map slightly and fixed a few bugs (mainly concerning the spawn point for Street II in episode 1) I didn't change much in the way of gameplay besides a slight balancing of items.

Don't worry, Season II is in full production now. I'm currently working on the starting area following the intro theater. It's a ton of work building a massive mansion for the initial area!

I predict that the map will be finished sometime in the fall! But, we'll just have to wait and see.

So I was just editing the post to try and make it cleaner and less cluttered when suddenly the whole thing turns into a wall of gibberish text.

So for the past hour I've been trying to fix it back to a stable state. I believe it's good now. If there are any strange symbols and stuff that's why. I'll try to fix any errors as soon as possible.

Don't forget to comment how you did on the map! It helps alot! I'm also including a poll so be sure to vote on that!

If you have played it, did the spawn point for the street outside the parking garage work okay? That's something that has been causing issues. I think I fixed it in the V 1.1. update, but I haven't heard if there is still a problem.

Amazing! Great job! Don't worry I'm gonna continue making maps. I'm currently working on the second season of Exodus! Season 2 is gonna use a different system than how season 1 worked. No endless spawning of zombies this time. We're in space not an undead city

Well at this point, I've constructed about 30% of the starting area. However most work has been put into the planning stages. I have a rough story idea for season 2 where there is an actual villain that will hinder you through out the map. I've also been testing some cool things with redstone that might be used in the map and some work has been put into a custom resource pack. As of now I've only changed the paintings. Most to look like computer screens for a more futuristic feel.

As for when you can expect season 2, I'd guess somewhere around late Fall to early Winter. Bare in mind that it took a whole year to make season 1, but this time I'll be much more focused and production should be much faster now that I've learned a thing or two about redstone.
