This is an Indiana Jones adventure map, based off of the Indiana Jones movies.
-You start off in Barnett College (The Hub) where you can play through the levels (8 in all, two for each movie), jump through fun mini-games (4 in all), visit the Shop, discover Side-Quest's (friends of Indiana ask you to help them find what they're missing, in the levels), search for Magic Eyes (You'll need them to beat the Bonus Level), and more!
-Diamonds are used as money to buy perks in the Shop. You can find them throughout the levels and Hub.
-We try to get the story line as close to the movies as possible, but if there is anything different that is because it is pretty much impossible to do. I'd recommend watching the Indiana Jones movies before playing this, because to beat the levels you must know things from the movies.
-This map is made for one player, you can play with more than one, but it will be more difficult.
-This map comes with a custom resource pack that I made, please enjoy. Here is the download just to the resource pack, if you already downloaded the map: Download.
-Here's some simple rules for playing this:
-Play on adventure mode.
-No breaking blocks.
-Make sure to play on Minecraft 1.7,
-Make sure the difficulty is set on Easy.
-Have fun!!
-If you want to use this map other than for private purposes YOU MUST credit us (and the creators below) in the description! Or if you want it on a server YOU STILL MUST credit us (and the creators below)!

Update #1: The block above the door (where you put the key) in The Secret In The Library (Level 5) has been removed due to it being to low, so you couldn't get up the stairs. Update #2: In The Crystal Skull (Level 8) the part where you place the Crystal Skull on the top of the first anvil (while holding down sneak) a redstone clock stop working, so you couldn't get through. It is now fixed! Update #3: Making a resource pack for this map. The fishing rod will now look like a whip (100%), the Indiana Jones theme song will be in a music disk (100%), in-game music (50%), and Indiana's Hat (20%). I might even make more customizations to it, but this is all for now. Hopefully, it will increase your in-game fun and experience! Update #4: Updated because of some errors in-game: Pressure Plate missing on the bridge in (Level 4). Fixed. Added: Repeaters in (Level 3) so Gangsters would not keep hitting the pressure plate spawning more. Added: Gangsters who would spawn on the balquonies (Level 3). Added: Redstone in skull room to make arrows shoot down (Level 4). Added: /tellraw commands to Side-Quest Room (The Hub).Added: Some odds and ends (All over). Update #5: When you put the White Diamond in the hopper (in Level 3, Shangai Escape) it is supposed to poison you and Gangsters are supposed to come. Due to a redstone block in the way the hopper didn't trigger these things. But, now it is fixed! Update #6: Added jukeboxes (for custom music) around the college. Update #7: Fixed a minor error in (Level 5: Secret in the Library). There was a button by the door that leads upstairs that wasn't supposed to be there. Now fixed. Update #8: Added lots of odds and ends all over the map. Update #9: Spawn point fixed in (Level 2: The Ark of the Covenent). Now in Indiana's classroom Indie's head looks like Indiana Jones. Update #10: Added text when you reach the end of the right minecart track (in Level 4: The Sankara Stones). Added colored text for the dialogue on the bridge (in Level 4: The Sankara Stones). Added some other small details. Update #11: Now when you race the redstone (in Level 1: Temple Escape) it will tp you back if you don't get out in time. Update #12: A Side-Quest villager escaped from its place. Now fixed. Added block in Hub. Update #13: Took out some diamonds throughout the levels and Hub due to there being to many.
In the Level Select Room, now if you want to get rid of some items you can put them in the chests and it will delete them FOREVER. Update #14: Now everything should work when you put the last Skull on the last anvil (in Level 8: The Crystal Skull). Update #15: Fixed broken hopper in The Hub. Added a Siren Sound when you reach the house in Nuketown (in Level 7: The Warehouse). Update #16: Decreased time for Regeneration (in Level 4: The Sankara Stones). Removed some in-game food. Now you have to jump across the pit (in Level 1: Temple Escape). Silverfish now spawn near the Ark (in Level 2: The Ark of the Covenent). Added more hints. Made the consistancy of Diamonds less throughout the map. Removed whips (in Levels 3 and 7). Added a cool secret (in Level 7: The Warehouse).
Made walls higher for mazes. Added many new items to the shop and now the items are higher priced. Update #17: Changed the Guard's names (in Level 2: The Ark of the Covenant). Update #18: Fixed the regeneration problem in the Extreme-Hard minigame. (It was giving to much regeneration, so that you couldn't die until it ran out.)
Hints and Tips:Bench:
-Level 1- Temple Escape Hints and Tips
Here is will you will find the two eyes to open the Temple:
-First Eye- The hint says, "One is behind..." That means you have to retrace your steps back down the hill. When you get to the steep part of the hill, first go to your right. You should see a small gravel path leading behind the path. Follow it until you find the chest with the Eye in it.
-Second Eye- The hint says, "One is to your left..." This one's easy. At the entrance to the temple, facing the temple, go to your left. You must parkour to the top of the big tree, inside is the Eye.
-Beat the Redstone- At the part where you have to beat the redstone repeaters to get out of the temple, the best thing to do is, after you have triggered the tripwire (and think you won't be able to make it out in time) just wait until the redstone reaches the end and teleports you back to the table (where you picked up the Idol). Then, once you have gained confidence, try again to get out. If you get really frustrated, just push the escape button, go to Open to LAN, and turn the gamemode to creative and turn cheats on. Only use this under dire circumstances!
-Level 2- The Ark of the Covenant Hints and Tips
-Finding the (small) Temple- On the left-hand side of the camp, follow the trail of tents until you reach the last tent on the left. Inside, is a map to the (small) Temple. Go straight out of the tent, then go to the northwest. You should see the (small) Temple, so keep heading toward it until you reach it.
-Finding where to dig for the Ark- In the (small) Temple is another map that leads to the place where you have to dig for the Ark. Go out of the (small) Temple facing south. Go directly left if you're facing south (towards the tents). Keep going, you will pass a desert well on the way. Passing that, you will see a hill. Go up the hill, and you should see a chest. Inside, is a shovel. Dig straight down, by the chest. Keep digging until you reach the Ark!

This map took a lot of time, and you're probably wondering why we don't use ad.fly or other ad sites. Well, we don't like the way these sites work. They are confusing to the downloader on what to download and sometimes the ads can give your computer viruses. So, for now please Share, Comment, and Promote it if you really like it.
how do u get to the bonus level?????? btw, this map is the best Indiana Jones map out there!!
You must find 8 Magic Eyes in the 8 levels. Then, you have to complete the Side-Quests to get 9 emeralds, trade them with the villager (above the Classrooms) to get 1 more Magic Eye. Once you have all 9 Eyes, buy the key to Indiana's Study ( ) and find the Bonus Level! The Eyes are needed once you find it.

ok thanks!!! Oh, and are you making any more maps?? if u r, CAN"T WAIT TO DWNLOAD MORE!!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank everyone who has downloaded our Indiana Jones Adventure Map. We have a 150+ downloads ! Just to know that 150+ people have probably played our map puts a smile on my face. It took us around 4 months to make, but it was worth every penny to know that people are enjoying this map.
Comments are appreciated.

Woohoo! 200+ downloads just from Planet Minecraft! Thanks everyone.
Looks Cool. Downloading. Maybe after the Assassins Creed adventure map maybe you could do a Call of Duty Singleplayer Campaign adventure map? I can't wait for one of those maps
(You could replace the skin in the resource pack maybe?)
Thanks! With 1.8 I could have made the whip teleport you to where it lands, but that would have made it really easy to get across traps and stuff. Btw, I'm sorry but I don't quite understand what you mean by replacing the skin in the resource pack, do you mean I should make one? Btw, thanks so much, again for commenting!

Thanks for downloading the map, I hope you enjoy it. I actually was thinking of making something like a Call of Duty map, but for now all our concentration is located on the Assassin's Creed map which will include lots of the 1.8 features!
Hey thanks! I'll try changing the fishing rod into a whip and maybe change some other things. I just hope it's not to complicated for me to make a resource pack. Thanks for the link on how to make one, I've never done something like this before. Also, to make the whip teleport you to where it lands it takes a lot of command blocks and @e commands.
Yup, in the next map I'm making, we are using the test 1.8 to get a head start on all the cool commands! Btw, I'm having a little trouble with the resource pack, I made a Indiana Jones Resource Pack folder inside that I made the description, in notepad, and added a picture .png (I looked at your resource pack to follow what you did), then I made an assets folder, inside that a minecraft folder, inside that a textures folder, inside that an items folder and inside that the two pictures I edited (fishing_rod_cast and fishing_rod_uncast), but it still doesn't work even though I followed the link you gave me. I'm probably doing something wrong.

Actually, I figured it out! It works!! Thanks so much for telling me to change the fishing rod to a whip, the resource pack will be up soon!
