FYI, multiplayer spawns into the void. I suggest moving it with MCEdit.
Hi,
Odd, multiplayer shouldn't be spawning players into the void. I actually did move it with MCEdit. There is a spawn platform (which is invisible with the provided resource pack) that has tripwire that should teleport you to the starting location.
Are you getting spawned off the platform? Or not near the platform at all?

=/ That's weird. I can't seem to reproduce the problem.
When you fall, what are your x and z coordinates? (That will tell me if the spawnpoint mysteriously moved itself. They should be something close to x = -1095, z = 350).
Oh ok. I'll try it but you really should create a server when making a map just to make sure you have the spawning correct. Multiplayer spawn is very different than single player.

Seems to work.
BTW, I recorded this with SnoShoe but the video was corrupted. Sadly, no LP from me, but you will be able to watch SnoShoe's POV. Your puzzles are very well built but frustrating at times.

Great! good to hear.
Unfortunately, my laptop's too slow to run the server; especially if I'm running the client as well. =( Otherwise I would definitely test it.
Too bad the video corrupted... I hope you guys enjoyed it at least! =)
I did a playthrough of this map on my Youtube channel! I absolutely love this map. Took me a little bit to actually understand what i was doing but after that it went by quite fast.

It would be awesome if you updated this map to use the relative view direction teleportation in the 1.8 snapshots. I think the experience would be so much more seamless!

Okay it's fixed.
That was really weird... I have no idea why it randomly broke.
We kept falling. Had to TP to the starting point

I think the area is correct but I'm spawning below the tripwire mechanism.
=/ I'll fiddle around with it a bit. I can't get it to do that myself, so hopefully I can fix it.
Did you try it on a server? Also playing 1.7.4
Unfortunately I don't have a server to test it on. Try this one (I moved the spawn point up a bit):

I also fixed a couple of other things.

Nice! =D
When it's fully released, I'll add it to the post.
Nice, I'll add it to the main post. =)
EDIT: Ok, I completed the map, found 7 pads, already had them all, it still says I have 5.
