Alright boys, I don’t wanna just let this go into the sweet night. I owe y’all one last update.
Without beating around the bush - I’m done with Minecraft. I loved it for many years, and will remember it fondly. But for me it’s exhausted as a platform for creative work. By now I’ve done and tried everything I wanted to with it, so I'll move on and do different things now.
Simulation Protocol is my longest running project to date, but it’s pretty clear its time has come. Here’s my plan for the next month or so: I will wrap SP03 up, tie in all loose ends and cut out the things I know I won’t finish. After that I’ll maybe do a very quick beta test to see if there’s anything broken and if it’s playable, and release it at that. At that, Simulation Protocol will be finished.
I will check this place for a little bit after Entropy’s release, but I don’t plan on making any more map or keeping anything updated afterwards. I might pop in every once in a while to see how things are going. C:
So yeah, SP3 is coming very shortly, perhaps not as grandiose as I originally planned, but better than not coming at all, right?
There are 21 areas in total. All are aesthetically done, 6 of them need loot and mobs. I also need to finish the redstone and do some small work on the resource pack. Afterwards, everything needs to be tested at least once before release.
In gaming, I've been getting heavily invested in Dark Souls 3 pvp lately, I'll stick around there for some time. In real-life, I'm pursuing graphic design as a career, so I'll pour maximum time I can into that.

As you are going to stop playing Minecraft but you will continue uploading videos to YouTube and visiting the forum?
Awwww, Tikaro, your maps will be missed. But I understand losing interest, and it's not fair to expect you to keep mapping even after the spark of interest and fun is gone. I'll look forward to Entropy, and I'm currently poking at Animosity for the 6th time, and that map is still fun. <3
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I wander through CTM maps, getting lost, fighting monsters, and somehow accomplishing things. I'm never too sure how, but I do. Come join me, pets!
Heya, I'm doing Overload with a friend atm and we can't get the teleportation system to work. When we step onto the pad nothing happens. Also, all the books, including the one that I think is supposed to explain the teleportation system, just say "Invalid book tag". Don't know if that's connected.
So... I saw a certain someone's trailer for coming back to making youtube videos again, and SP03 was in the trailer. It must be coming real soon... The hype is Giganormous!!!

honestly the trinkets that you get later on are not good
the very first trinket was the best in my opinion
the eye that you get in the cyan wool place is just useless if you leave that area
the poison and weakness res doesn't really ever have a use
but over all sp3 was the best map ever
theirs just so much to do
but one last thing that bothers me in the citadel you get so many golden apples that you can use it as a food source it honestly makes the last area to easy
Alright lads, SP3 Entropy is done. Some of you may have already played the beta version that was floating around recently, this is the official release. Here is the download link, and here are the screenshots:
You will need Minecraft 1.12 with Optifine to play the map. Yes, Optifine is mandatory, it's used for custom lighting and custom skyboxes. You can play without it, but your experience will be gimped. Hope you enjoy the map!
As you have probably seen, the main post has been gutted. Simulation Protocol has been moved to its own Archive hosted on my Github. This is where you should go in the future in search of my maps. The main post of this thread has been reworked to hold the most essential stuff you need to access my maps.
And to answer some questions that I suspect will arise: I will not update SP3 or any other of my maps if something is slightly broken or there is a new minecraft verison. I have no plans for doing anything Minecraft-related in the future. I also will not be checking this place after a little while, so if you need me - contact me on Twitter.
With all of that being said, thank you all for playing and enjoying my maps! Simulation Protocol was an entertaining part of my life which I'm glad to have experienced.

What will you do after you publish Entropy?

Yes I'm not gonna do anything minecraft-related after Entropy. I'll be doing some DS3 vids, and I'll pop in here every once in a while.

Hi! You might have answered this already, but how many secret chickens are there in Overload? I'd really like to know.

Does the teleport system work in multiplayer?
So...When will you publish SP03

Can be played co-op?
I think yes.
Can i play this map with friends?
I can't find the key to the door in the yellow wool area. Anybody know where it is?
This is the best ctm map ever made. Congratulations!
