Reviews:
"This map is excellent! Meticulously designed world, stirring sounds, and well crafted puzzles merge to deliver satisfying gameplay and a fun sense of accomplishment. I highly recommend this to the thinkers out there." -RowdyPants
"Fantastic map! Nice difficulty curve, really good architecture, and lots of attention to detail. All those notes to and from characters did a very good job of sucking me in to the world you'd built. Excellent job of making full use of the tools available to you--the occasional potion effects really added a nice touch. It was a simple thing, but that zoom effect on the doors in the labyrinth blew my mind the first time it happened. Little things like that really made this map stick out.
Also, this map gets my award for Most Satisfying Ending. Where a lot of adventure maps end with just a note saying "You won!", an actual ending sequence really stands out. And you even had victory music! A+, would play again.
PS. I am far too amused by the fact that the toilet makes flushing noises."
It really is a wonderful map. Great story, beautiful aesthetics, good gameplay. And then there's the special effects. By the way, how many command blocks did you use on the map?
The screenshots and story look great. I think the wife and I will try to play through on MP and see what happens. Would you mind us posting an LP/Review of your map to our Youtube channel?

You are more than welcome to post youtube reviews, and I would be happy to feature quality work. Unfortunately, the map isn't multiplayer ready yet, but I hope to rectify that soon. If you decide to experiment, please pm me your results
I hate to say "stumble through it," but the lady and I can prolly make it through with minimal /tp's. Any opinions will not be based on the MP ability as it does not support it. Though I'll keep some notes on issues we run into. I'm looking forward to jumping into this this evening.

Oh those command blocks. I just tried to go back and count them, but stopped after I realized that after counting 3 of the 15 or so areas there were already over 50, so I'm guessing at least 200 command blocks, excluding any of the custom music. The 1.7 update would have made my life a lot easier in a good few spots with all the scoreboard keeping I had to do (or Eloraam's work, I guess )
You are the best map maker in the entire minecraft community! You are unique, beautiful, fun, and awesome in general! I'll play this map right now!
Haha, I doubt that I'm the best, but I do hope you enjoy the map. The beta testers alone put about 50 hours of work into it, and I think we managed to get it to a challenging yet playable state.
Great to see another map from you Versepelles! Hope it's as good as the last one. ever though it's vanilla.
Haha, no love for vanilla. I will say, the command blocks do have an edge over FTB in some ways, mainly because they handle vanilla blocks a bit better (and vanilla blocks are better documented), and this is taken even farther in the 1.7 snapshots. I do hope to do some pretty cool stuff with all that /setblock and /summon magic, but it is true that I miss Redpower sooooooooooooo much
This map is a masterpiece!
Unfortunately I´m not smart enough to solve it... ^^
I´m already stuck on the twin isle... In the first building: if I find the correct combination for the lights. What will happen? And where? In THAT room, or in the celar of the second building? I just want to know what will happen and where. I don´t want to have the solution for this puzzle
But what I´ve seen from the map so far is great.
I hope you've already made it past that part by now, but, in any case, the map is designed to help guide you whenever you do find the right path. Once you've solved a puzzle, you will often hear a nice 'ding!' along with a chat message which will direct you. There are some points in the map which do allow for a some exploration, and this can be confusing at times. However, at Twin Isle, if you choose to walk up the far side from the transport dock (instead of taking the minecart), there is a small hint found in a note from Artus to Graddur. It reads:
Graddur,
If you need to get into my stronghold and I'm not around, just remember what we said about the twins, how one asks the questions and one holds the answers.
Also, try not to lose your transport key again, because I can't guarantee that Shelia won't kill you next time.

That's all? I'll have to do better next time. Maybe the glowing floor that follows wherever you walk- that would keep the count up.
