This is a new concept map i came up with: standard CTM rules but the map is made for RUSH.

He speedruns CTM maps so i thought of making a map especially for speedruns!
This map has no intersections, just a very long cave! Keep going to get to the next area! This map is alsonot very long. Yes there are 16 pieces of wool but they are not that far away from each other. The slowest it can take is 2 hours TOP, if you are super slow.
If you don't feel like playing RUSH, it's ok! You can still play this map slowly!
There is no grinding to do at all. You get plenty of resources at the beginning and once you get a material you get infinite of it!

This looks interesting. I'd also like to be allowed to post my LP here when I make it. Being able to fight famous minecraftians sounds very intriguing and I want to see how that is going to be. What does CTM even stand for? You make it seem as if it is a genre of maps, yet I've never heard of it. lol I'll PM you a link to watch some of my videos so you can see my style and how my LP may turn out. Hey guys, Chiefwiggy here, This map looks fun, so imma give it a download, ussually i dotn download maps without any screenshots, but your trailer (Which was awesome) was well put together and convinced me to play this map (Even though its 5 AM and i could be working on my map lol XD) but imma gonna download this and leave a review in a few days time

Ok that was fast, i mean really fast, and before you read this review please dont think im being mean or sinicle its just an honest review of the map, so lets get started shall we!
Comments: This was was a decent map with some clear balancing issues, there are way too many spawners, and yes having too many spawners is possible. You spammed each area with at least of 10-30 spawners which ussally caused an influx of 15-45 mobs in mere seconds. The starting area was nice, and very generous but i feel as if it could have given out the levels a little bit quicker so you could actually speed run the map like the intent was. Speaking of speed running, yeah this map was not a speed runable map really. Even thought i managed to finish it in under an hour, i think that slow and steady was the best way to take this map on. Now that being said, if your intent was being speed run, then you have to make it easier for the player and avoid the usage of Over time damaging mobs such as the cave spiders (which werent really necessary at the magenta Wool) Wither Skeletons, and Blazes, now you can use those mobs but in moderation. Also another thing, maybe it was just me, but there wasn't a single pickaxe in the whole map, at all, of the chests i looked in. Some areas were alot more unbalanced than the others. My least favorite area was the Blue wool, with the ascending glass due to balancing issues, it got to a point where the map wasn't very fun due to the spam of spawners (which i cannot emphasize enough) Some solid areas were the White wool area... thats really about it. Id reccomending getting rid of a good 90% of the spawners in this map, as constructive critism. The areas didn't look that well either which also detracts from the gameplay slightly. My main overall changes that i think should be made is, adding a pick at the start of the map. Making the xp at the start come out faster, lengthen the potion durations. and please for the love of god get rid of all of those spawners.

3. Idk what you are talking about, there are many pickaxes, there is a chest at the beginning of the cave to the left with an iron pick, to the right of the magenta wool a diamond pick with eff. 2 and after the light blue wool next to the drop there is a diamond pick with eff. 5.
The one with eff. 2 is a bit hard to see but the rest are very clear.
4. Yes the blue wool is very difficult but it seems like my beta- testers handled it well.
5. I didn't put that much effort into the look of the areas, but i am not that great of an architect in minecraft. I think it's better this way, cause if i would have tried to make the areas look very good:
A- It would take years for me
and B- It won't look that much better
6. The XP does need to be faster, i know. i'll work on it.
7. Yes, i'll make the potions longer!
8. This map isn't long, i know that! It's not meant to be!
I might get rid of some spawners... Maybe in the blue wool, i'll get rid of some more, but not many. I find it fun to have many spawners to handle!

Looks more like 8 or 9, look at the awesome level designs (maybe not the caves, but the structures!)
This is clearly not a 8 or a 9, if you want an example of an 8 or a 9 check out Viynl Fantasy II, thats a 8 or 9 in asthetics. This map i gave a 1 in asthetics due to the boxy feel to most room to room areas, and the generic cave style for the rest of the areas, and this is jsut a personal opinion. I counted the fireworks under creativity if thats something you are referring to. I just honestly thought the map looked bad, and there wasn't gameplay to make up for it... So my review stands as is, and ive submitted it on the CTM community thread :/

At that point you already have access to enchanted iron armor and the charged creepers are after the magenta, before the light blue wool. That seems fair enough to me!
