Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be tiny in Minecraft? Say.. 2 pixels tall? Well, your wondering is over. Welcome to Giant Minecraft.
The Giant Minecraft Survival map is an island with 16x16x16 blocks.
These blocks aren't just boring, solid blocks, however. They're hollow and filled with interesting things like mini biomes and carnival rides. There is a list of achievements to conquer as well as 6 hidden achievements throughout the map.
The Nether and the End have giant blocks too, filled with interesting things (except the end stone blocks in the End are solid, so the Ender Dragon can't knock you down as easily).
There's a list of achievements in the giant sand block right where the spawn point is, but I will also put the list here. There are 12 regular achievements, 6 hidden achievements, and an achievement to complete all achievements.

Sometimes you simply need some youtubers that play it, I got a lot of comment and download the the Yogscast played my map
Yeah, that's true. I know that once I got video showcases for my mod (the one in my signature), it got a lot more downloads.
I think this map is too big for a 2-3 video series like most youtubers seem to like making. It would probably need a legit long series to fully play it through.
Oh, I didn't even know Curse had maps (my mod is on curse, and I do like that it's moderated so not just anyone can post anything). I might do that.

My map has a average of 8 hours play time, It is harder to find youtubers who want to play that, but you just have to be lucky
Review Summary
Survival among giant (16x16x16) hollow blocks. While it's a fun idea, I'm not sure the island itself is the best showcase for this style of map. It does serve to keep the player in one general area, but you start off on a seemingly small island and it can be fairly challenging to get to the wood source (completely surrounded in mob-spawning darknesss) before night and/or hunger. The interior of some of the cubes are fanciful and humorous, while others are mostly-emply with a small (usually useful) reward. There's one 'achievement' room that lays out the exploration challenges (13) and provides redstone indicators as to your progress. That said, it's inside of a sand cube and I ruined some of the redstone just by digging into it. Other than the tree trunks, the chunk-sized blocks are too plain; not replicating the texture of the block's surface, just creating a 16x16x16 cube of dirt. I did enjoy finding some of the surprises, and the valuable resources seem rare enough, but overall it wasn't quite what I was hoping for.
Total Rating: 12/20
Innovation - 3 (clever concept and cube contents)
Detail - 2 (average, cubes need more surface texture variation)
Experience - 2 (average)
Challenge - 3 (combat, light exploration)
Progression - 2 (average)

Interesting map! I wanted to build a map kind of like this as well! But I think rsmalec is right about the detail; it's just a 16x16x16 block of dirt and leaves.

Thanks for the rating, rsmalec! I think a 12 is wonderful, especially since this was my first attempt at creating a map. =)
Perhaps I could have changed up the look of the textures, and I was actually planning to while making it (oh so long ago), but I decided against it because I had wanted to only give the player materials that they would normally find in the world (which is why the tree trunk is textured, since it only used wood), the only exceptions being the flowers and grass.
That said, I probably could have made it a bit more interesting. Oh well, I think it's still fine.
Its hard to find good minecraft maps these days that I get hooked onto these days. This is one of the best survival maps I have played yet! Nice job! My rating is 9 out of 10!

I hope you all enjoy my first custom map, and have as much fun playing it as I had making it =D.

EDIT:
Oh, one more thing:
You'll have to turn clouds off because the world is up higher than usual (the clouds are at about sea level).
I'm glad you guys like it. =)
Lol, took 3 months to get any replies. I guess it just got buried under the constant pile of maps being created.
Edit: I think you should upload this to curse becuase when you hit a specific amount of map downloads, its automatic free Curse Premium for life.

Well, if you hear of any youtubers who need a longer map to play, you know where you can direct them. =)
And it's more about fun than the number of downloads. I figured that if I made even one person happy, it was well worth it.

I hope you guys enjoy it! =D
