LOL Cheaters Never Prosper D:
I got so frustrated at the arena, cause zem cave spiders and blazes was completely killing me every single time I tried to finish of those last few spider jockeys. Flew through to the end, CHEATERS NEVER PROSPER
so Dont cheat xD trapped here now D:

I found a "bug" in the arena section. I died on the magma cube section, but
1. The scoreboard still displayed magma cubes
2. The ladders were still there
For the first, the solution would depend on your method of applying the scoreboard, but for the second, may I suggest using pistons to move the blocks, and knock off the ladders? Hoppers could be used to collect the items.
Also, not sure if this was intended, but the mobs from the previous section could climb over the ladders as well.
I finished this map over a few days, doing a few branches every day, and I have to say that i liked it so much that I came back here and read over all the comments, seeing the opinions of other players...
And i have to say, i'm very surprised that some people disliked it.
The map was tedious in sections like the Arena and the Trivia, yes, but that's completely fine. It would've been much MORE boring without the punishments for dying or getting questions wrong. If people don't have enough patience to enjoy the complexity of these sections, then that is their fault.
I've never played Complex, but I loved the escape section. It confused me, annoyed me, defeated me, and I loved every second of it. It was hilarious, creative, well-made, and aesthetically pleasing in general.
The Adventure branch was great. I thought it was a fantastic break from an generally challenging map, and I personally took the time to seek out all the people and read all their sayings. They were hilarious and the story was funny, although i would've loved to see the other side's ending (more on that later).
The Puzzle branch I can't say much on - it was the last branch i did and i didn't really think much on the first puzzle before saying "eh, screw it" and using my bonus wool on it. I wish i'd done it, though, because everything else was just great.
The Dropper and Parkour maps - well, people just have to understand that you didn't set out to make this map specifically for dropper and parkour. The dropper map was fun and i liked the spawn areas' themes especially, They differentiated just enough to keep it interesting. The parkour was frustrating, yes, but hey - It's Parkour. I still had a good time.
I don't have much to say for the Labyrinthian branch. I hugged the left wall through the whole thing and got through all three stages in less than 20 minutes and i didn't find it tedious. The level designs were creative, especially the pressure plate lighting and the final jumps across the lava maze walls.
Survival was fun. The items were balanced and not too hard to come by, and i finished in less than an hour, I believe.
The Boss Battle branch was a bit bland, but I didn't mind. We've all fought the wither before but I like the enchanting mechanics and the aesthetics were nice. Wasn't too tough.
The only thing I'd suggest is this:
I would've loved the option to replay the branches once i completed the monument. For one thing, the escape branch was just fun to explore, and i would've liked to see the other ending for the survival branch (I sided with the zombie king, just because the normal king was too suspicious).
Oh, and I loved the ending, the reenactments of all the different branches.
I can tell you put an absolute TON of work into this map and in my honest opinion, it's the best one i've ever played. First multi-genre I've ever heard of, but it certainly won't be the last.
Keep making maps, man. You're gifted with a lot of stuff, from redstone to aesthetics to downright humor and story.

Diamonds for you.
That's very kind of you. It's nice to hear someone enjoyed the map! If you want to see the other side of the Adventure branch, you can always break the wool in creative and just visit for fun.
BTW, if you're curious on creation f the map, I started a new series on my YT channel for the developer's commentary of the map.
[BIASED RATING IS BIASED]
I completely bias this rating on the fact that
1. I only played the arena portion, AND...
2. I could only play the arena portion because screw spider jockeys
Not to mention...
3. When you die, rooms you already progressed through DON'T STOP SPAWNING
And also...
4. When you spawn in 10 flying enemies that shoot fire at you, it just doesn't work...
The blazes killed me, and after I *finally* ran back to the spider jockey arena the ladder was freaking GONE, NONEXISTENT, REMOVED. The buttons wouldn't supply ladders and I did not want to reinstall diversity for a third time (the first time because apparently in adventure mode, you can still place blocks, which is what happened when I missed the chest with the freaking introduction wool)

Wow that's a pretty angry rant.
1. The entire point of the Arena is that when you die, you get sent back. And yes you have to battle your way to where your current level is. That's not going to change. That's how I made it. I love the idea and no one will change my mind on that. If you have a checkpoint every single level, there's no challenge.
2. Watch VII's LP. He goes through the Arena without much trouble. In fact I almost thought it was too easy.
3. You can always leave the Arena and do something else. That's why you have the free wool.
4. The ladder button gets disabled from the previous level when you reach the next level. I don't understand issue. There's no way you can reach the next portion unless you place the ladders. I don't understand why the ladders would be gone. There must be something else to this.
5. If you are installing the map 3 times and it keeps messing up, why didn't you report the bug to me?
damn...wanted to lp this, but this is just uncompletable...
Sorry. It's not "impossible". It's all logical. I've started a series on my youtube channel for the map where I explain the whole thing. Right now, I'm heading through the Puzzle branch. Might be helpful for you.
And the snow golems riddle hint is a dead giveaway. Come on...
Really good map .
But the Arena is very laggy, is it made in purpose? Because I don't lag in any other places.
The Arena is full of clocks. Which is likely your issue. Unfortunately, I assume it's your computer. Do you know how to add RAM to Minecraft? That will definitely help you.

Well I just took the freebie ^^
I'm traveling now, so I don't have my gaming computer, and I was really exited to play that game ^^
Guess i'll have to play the arena back home.
Reading people's experiences with this it seems a lot of people are quitting early and complaining about how difficult this is. Yes its challenging but its not impossible!
Heya! i just came here to say how epic this all looks, downloading both maps ASAP.
I just want to know could i use this sort of map and create a map for it?
A bit less complex, can i have your permission to use your idea in a map of my own?

you may want to check some of your answers in the trivia section. I found that a few had the incorrect answers marked as correct
sky marked as correct for where end stone generates etc
Sky is the biome where End Stone generates. All questions to the Trivia are correct.
But you've learned something you didn't know before! That's good. The End is not a biome.

Second, you want to make a multi-genre map - go ahead man! Good luck.
Thanks for creating this map it is great !
I have done a recording of this map and it will soon be on youtube.
Hope this is ok
