Compatible with 1.7.4 only! I will not be updating this map into versions newer than 1.7.4. Certain parts will be broken in other versions of Minecraft. Please load the 1.7.4 version of Minecraft through the launcher.
Is the map file missing from your saves when loading Minecraft?
Please follow the install directions. I have had countless reports on this and it is simply caused by people ignoring my directions. DO NOT place the entire folder into your saves or the map won't show up in Minecraft!! ONLY place the folder labeled "Diversity (v1.3.4)"!
Description:
Diversity is a unique take on the CTM genre. As usual, you have to complete the monument by collecting the coloured wool. However in Diversity, each wool is obtained by finishing a completely different Minecraft map genre.
Rules:
In an effort to weed out any forms of cheating, since I can't change the Minecraft code, please understand...
1. No breaking, placing or crafting ANY items unless instructed or implied.
2. No changing gamemodes or difficulty, for ANY reason whatsoever.
3. ABSOLUTELY no typing commands like TP, give, spawnpoint, etc. (ESPECIALLY for Multiplayer!)
When you cheat, we all lose
4. For Single Player, start on Easy. Avoid viewing the Options Screen if possible.
Recommendations:
- Resource Pack: Default
- Brightness: High
- Clouds: Off
- Render Distance: 16 Chunks
Single Player:
There is a Minecraft bug on single player that viewing the options screen will overwrite the command block difficulty. For this reason, I suggest you starting your game with Easy.
Multiplayer:
If you want to play Diversity as multiplayer, I recommend 2 players. 3 maximum. This map is NOT compatible with Bukkit.
Additional Notes:
This is my second Minecraft map and MUCH more ambitious than my first. This took me about 2 months to construct. Diversity is possibly the first Minecraft map built around the purpose of completing multiple genres. Diversity must be played in Minecraft 1.7.4.
It's not required, but for those who have played my first map, Complex, there is something special for you.

Escape Branch Help (Spoilers):
How the devil to I leave the Escape Branch?
There are 2 ways. The "Return to Hub" Exit Button
This is located on the 3rd floor in the first room you fall into where the sign says 'A Gift Below'.
Gaining the Wool
You can get the wool if you get the books.
Notice the titles of the books?
This is directly related to the Code room on the 5th floor.
Puzzle Branch Help (Spoilers):
Don't give up just yet. Let me give you a few hints. Which one are you stuck on? 1. Jukebox Puzzle
HINT 1:
It's a combo lock.
HINT 2:
There are 5 lights.
HINT 3:
The music discs are coloured.
2. Water Stream Puzzle
HINT 1:
Look carefully at the water stream.
HINT 2:
Something is dropping out of the dispenser.
HINT 3:
It's about timing not lighting.
3. First Carpet Puzzle
HINT 1:
Look carefully when you open a chest.
HINT 2:
Remember the first puzzle?
HINT 3:
Do you like music?
4. Soul Sand Puzzle
HINT 1:
There is only one way to enter that door.
HINT 2:
Do not insert the carpet into the chest.
HINT 3:
You need to get higher at the door level.
5. Sheep Puzzle
HINT 1:
There is one pen that doesn't shoot fire.
HINT 2:
There is one pen that doesn't recieve fire.
HINT 3:
Place a sheep in the one that just fired.
6. Second Carpet Puzzle
HINT 1:
There are 5 colours on the floor.
HINT 2:
Each block has geographical significance.
HINT 3:
Take a walk and look up at the sky.
7. Multiple Doorways Puzzle
HINT 1:
The coloured block on the floor changes with each advancement.
HINT 2:
Even through the first section.
HINT 3:
Add how many the block moves to the right. Door #?
8. Life or Death Puzzle
HINT 1:
Notice the signs behind you?
HINT 2:
Water is Life. Lava is Death.
HINT 3:
Words will attach to life or death.

#1 - The 5 Coloured Squares:

#2 - One of rises. Whist the other disguises:

Total weight = 438 + 1/2 of total weight. 2 halves are equal. 438 + 438 = 876 [8 7 6]
#5 - Greater than God puzzle:

What's greater than God? Nothing. [0]
#6 - Hostile Mob Drops riddle:
ANSWER:
Drop from Hostile Mobs ONLY. Ghast Tear, Blaze Rod, Gun Powder, Slime Ball, Rotten Flesh. Skeletons do not drop skulls.
#7 - "Name to the North" riddle:
ANSWER:
L E V E R
#8 - "Cows and the Wheat" riddle:
ANSWER:
2 8 4 breeding and now there are 3. [2 8 4 3]
#9 - X = -1194 + -1197 + -1201 - Remember, coordinates are proper in the brackets.

#10 - Transport is what you seek:

10. Slider Puzzle
HINT 1:
Classic slider puzzles always have a specific order.
HINT 2:
Do you remember a group of 9 wool before?

Return to Room 1 and observe.

The trailer looks amazing they might have to make a new genre for this one. Multi genre CTM doesn't sound right to me but somebody will think of something haha
