Yeah... One beta tester volunteered then when I sent him the map download he didn't respond, ever. Then 2 beta testers finished the map and gave me feedback. Now I'm waiting on one beta tester to finish the map, but he hasn't played it for months. I tried to bug him about it and he gave some feedback for one area. Since then there hasn't been any more feedback. I might just upload the map as is.
Hm. Well, I don't know a whole lot about beta feedback since I haven't held or participated in any betas, so I'm not entirely sure what to tell you. If you feel like you have sufficient feedback, you might want to release it, but if you don't it may be a good idea to to find a few more testers. (As for me, I'd rather play it when it's fully released.)

I'll give you the advice Aimoskeeto gave me: If you think the map is in good condition, just play through it yourself one more time and if everything suits you, release it! Any minor issues can be patched later
Legion Mines looks great. I plan to play it with some friends. Is there a recommended player limit? Playtime?
There is no player limit, but the more players you have the harder the map will be as you will have to divide up resources more. I don't know an estimate of playtime as it varies greatly per player.
Ugh... There this weird crash in the map and I have NO clue how to fix it, or even how it is happening. I don't think I can release the map in it's current state, as the crash makes finishing the map impossible (its right in the entrance of the last intersection). I despise working on that map because of the pressure of removing that crash (I used to get another crash somewhere, which the beta-testers never seemed to get. But I still won't know if I still get that crash with this new one blocking my way). If someone could try to fix that crash for me, I could tell you the details, send you the map, and you can fix it and send it back. I just have no clue how to handle these crashes.
Crashed approching a labeled chest near the beginning of the first area (the snowy swamp one). Tried reopening the map two more times, only for it to instantly crash again both times. Since the crash report mentions a lit furnice, it may be to do with some kind of proximity trap, or it may just be a bug with the minecraft snapshot, but it also occured in the same place again after opening a fresh copy of the map on creative, so I suspect it is something to do with a trap of some sort which broke in the snapshot.

Hey, I just started playing TSB. I'm only on my first area (the second one, with the endstone and clay), but from what I've seen so far, the map looks great! It's really nice that you wrote out lore for the areas.
I noticed the abundance of resources in the area I'm currently in. There's mountains of coal, and trees made of iron and stone. It seems a bit generous
Just started playing TSB and has been really fun so far! I really like the look of the snowy swamp area (forgot its name :/ ) and have found Aimoskeeto's head so far! Has really been fun!
When I entered the snowy swamp area I noticed a missing texture block in the air not far from spawn. When I got near it my game crashed and now I can't load the map again.
When I go into MCEdit I can't see a block there at all! I moved the player and took a screenshot:
Sorry for my bad drawing
Other than that great map!
EDIT: I restarted the map and the block was still there so I went into MCEdit again and deleted the area the block was in (in MCEdit there was no block again so I had to guess where the block was) and now I will continue playing!
EDIT 2: I am playing in 14w25b

Ok, thanks for telling me. I'm pretty sure I know what this is. I'll update the map ASAP.
Seems I've come across quite a dilemma. Until I fix this, use 14w20a.

The generosity is a personal preference for me. The earlier I give you iron and stuff, the earlier i can up the challenge

Yeah... I'm now afraid that you just said that...
Anyway, I just played The Stars Beyond, now I'm in the third area of intersection 1 and I have 4+ stacks of iron blocks, 2+ stacks of lapis blocks, and more than enough gold blocks to make 6 Notch apples. I really hope you step up the difficulty on the next intersection (but not too much).

I didn't think It wold take this long for 1.8 to come out. Its been so many months since the first 1.8 snapshot :/

Oh, and did I mention it's been a fun map so far?
That would be difficult without any apples, or oak saplings, or even oak leaves
