*Loud applause*
Excellent map yet again Jesper How in the world did you pull out all those tricks? (The jump-push move block, the transfixed spiders, the player detecting redstone lamp puzzle, etc). In my opinion, unlike the first one, this one has less puzzle elements. The Code 1 puzzles took harder to figure out, but this map also has some great puzzles that play with your mind(Took me a while to figure out the redstone lamp-activating-bridges puzzle :P). Some of the things were so astonishing, it actually gave me goosebumps... especially the spiders. They're just suddenly looking at one direction. Sort of like a horror game...
Thank you so much ^.^ I'll explain how I did everything on youtube in the next few weeks on 'jespertheend2'
Wow. This map is even more amazing than the Code 1. The puzzles are now harder, and it just makes the map so much better.
I'm playing through the map right now and it takes me awhile to fiqure out the puzzles. So far it's amazing.
I played your map and loved it. I was a little sad on how short it was, I wanted the mindbending to go on forever!
I enjoyed the fact that the puzzles in it weren't designed to stump you completely, but rather, let you slowly learn and figure out for yourself.
Thanks! Don't worry, I'm already working on the Code III. Which will be longer hopefully. I thought the code II was a bit too short as well. But the Code I was a bit to long and the last puzzles weren't as good as the first ones so thats why I thought a short puzzle map was better.
I REALLY like this map. It is a bit challanging but I only get really stuck on this block maze because I couldnt figure out how to move this frekin block xD also this time stopping part is really cool. And I've read the text on the end through the console xD.
I also have a couple of questions.
First: Why and for what are all those checkings? Those have spamed my console and sometimes I got some lag spikes and sound lags.
Second: Are there any easter eggs? I've played the map three times (BTW: First time: about about 45 mins, second and third time about 20 mins) and I've found nothing. I was really confused due to the symbols special in The Code 1 :S
Thanks for playing!
First: I think you mean the 'item entity * has no id' in the console? That's due to a bug in minecraft. I can't fix that. But it shouldn't cause any lag on the client side. You should have way more fps compared to the Code I
Second: there aren't any easter eggs, sorry the only one is the actual text in the end. But you figured that one out already.
That map was really challenging! I had to grab help from my brother in some places. In fact, I was surprised to learn that the map ITSELF has no end! Think I'll play it again when I have time to spare. Otherwise, a much more interesting sequel to the code. (Not saying The Code I wasn't interesting, that map was clever too.)

I love this map, haven't even beaten it yet, but probably my favorite part was the time stop, which I'm going to guess you used some sort of minecart thing for. The creativity of the puzzles however, have made this probably the best puzzle map I've ever played.
What was "the Code" saying at the end (or should I say the beginning). It was saying a bunch of random letters
I can't quite remember but it actually does say something, if you open the map in a server you can read it in the console, or you can dig down in creative in that room, then you can see the command blocks.
Just finished the map, at 2:40AM, alone in a dark room.
I did not realize I could be jumpscared in Minecraft in such a manner.
Thanks for playing
I actually wanted to make it scary by adding explosions and a witch at the end of the dark hallway, but I thought scaring someone in minecraft is almost impossible so I changed it.

I did use minecarts, but not really the way you expect it. I'll upload a video today on youtube.com/jespertheend2 on how I did the frozen mob puzzle.
Fantastic work! I thoroughly enjoyed this map. It totally reminded me of Antichamber, but I liked this even more!
For the part with
the frozen spiders
, did you use minecarts? Like the same way as you did the
askew blocks?
And good job on making it un-cheatable (; Believe me, I tried when I was stumped.
thanks!
I did use minecarts for the askew blocks, and for the frozen spiders as well. But not really the way you would expect. Because if you just put spiders in a minecart they will still rotate. I'll upload a video today on youtube.com/jespertheend2 on how I did the frozen mob puzzle.

I've solved the map itself, and the ver first stairwell is different except for one thing, the sign with "2" on it... what is its mystery, is it simply a sign to maintain some continuity, or is somthing else, maybe another code, maybe a riddle waiting to be solved, something so small yet so large, something that just creeps in to your head,I think "What is that 2 for?!" Something that is most likely so insignificant can get so much attention from my head... why?

haha, oh it's actually really simple. in the Code I the sign was there as well. And now it's just there so the stairs is the same but it doesn't have a function anymore.

I'll upload a new video on how I did the frozen mobs around 30 august.
Thanks I'll put it in the first post.
