Well those things can't fly out so they should be ok. But a few things to remember: Spawners need to be below the ground level AND the entry must be completable even if you die. Once you enter the encounter it will reset your spawn to just inside the encounter. As long as you can still get to the boss and beat him from there (unless you reset the spawn point again) then you're good to go. Also don't skimp on equipment! I look forward to playing it
Thanks! I kinda seriously slacked off today, but first thing tomorrow, I'll get started again.
Equipment-wise, the player(s) will be receiving four sets of diamond armor with Unbreaking X and 4 diamond swords with Smite V and Unbreaking X, so I'm pretty sure I didn't skimp.

And finally, (this is just a pet peeve of mine):
HER! THE BOSS IS FEMALE!
...in all seriousness, though, I'm glad that you're excited!
To what extent am I allowed to change the entrance and exit? Am I allowed to for example move one command block if I know that the mechanism will still work?
You can't change the entrance and exit command block structure or shape at all. Even if it works, they are not complete and a new set will be pasted in when I am compiling the map.
I'm making an encounter together with a friend and it's coming along quite nicely. What I wonder is if we can submit more than one? We're two people after all so submitting one each should be okay, right?
Also, any plans on how you're going to connect the encounters? We loved the levelish approach of Adventure Multiplex 1 and it'd be nice with some similar thing here (a hundred or so encounters might be a bit overwhelming otherwise). Anyways, looking forward to see the whole thing done and all! Good luck people!
Each one would have to be submitted under a single name. But i'm ok with people working together on encounters, just as long as they're submitted by a single contact that will be used in the credit information for that encounter.
They will be connected on a flat playing field, probably with streets. that's why it needs a ground level because you can access the encounter from all sides.
Anyway, I have a new problem... and this one is DIRE.
As you know, 1.6 is coming out in 2 days, and with it, a new launcher. However, for some reason, whenever I try to use the new launcher, my Minecraft crashes as soon as it loads. This means that unless I find a new computer to work on, I have TWO DAYS to finish my encounter.
I think I have a suitable computer; however, I have one more problem. Suppose you download the new launcher onto a new computer, one that is different from the one that you originally brought Minecraft on. How would you download and open maps on it?
Worse-case scenario, I could work on it at a friend's house...

You could just not update until you have finished the encounter But when Multiplex 2 is released it will be for 1.6 so you might not be able to play it unless you're able to update to the new launcher at some point.

I'm starting to get submissions faster now, It may take a day or two before I am able to test your submission, I will be replying back as soon as I can.
You're not using any custom resource packs are you? I'm going to update my entry to include sound effects and I don't want to use any custom sound effects.
Just a curiousity, your "sound effects" doesn't include any ghast getting hurt that most likely gonna destroy my ears and give me a heart attack, right?
Like the one from Chronotide. Because I almost died when i heard the sound (and I followed the rules to turn my sound "sky high").
Okay! My cousins from out-of-state are here this week, so my progress has been slower than a slug in molasses going uphill in January, but after they leave, IT'S GO TIME!

I guess that makes two of us.
Wait... the map told you to turn your sound "sky high"? That's borderline EVIL.

No, can't do a custom resource pack with this many different entries. What would work for one, wouldn't really work for another.

Thanks! All I have to do is:
-Put in two spawners for the boss' counterattacks,
-Convert some existing spawners so they become redstone activated (and so one of them stops spawning spiders in a wall... derp), and
-Create an exit path,
so I don't have much left to do. Also, I'm suprised nobody got the Psychonauts reference.
Anyway, thank you soooooo much for your continued support! But before I forget...
This is REALLY off-topic, but I noticed that the timed music puzzle in Eronev Mansion Adventure was the Serenade of Water.

Hail, fellow Ocarina of Time fan!
I love OoT Also by the sounds of it, she is going to be a pretty badass boss. Hopefully you don't make her impossible!

Hi,I have a question that wasn't answered in your FAQ.What if I plan to use a "fake-top" scheme, but with something such as a divided template? Is it ok for me to make it something like you're abducted by a white van and end up in an abandoned warehouse that would be the upper half of the two divided parts? Sorry for the late question,I just saw your entire series and I feel this would be a great way for me to get my feet wet for good building in minecraft.

That would be absolutley fine, however consider what the top part would look like. Remember your encounter will be visible from all sides and a giant block in the sky wouldn't look too great, you could theme it by making it a floating building of some sort or something like that. Good luck
Good. Basically, what I meant was I wanted to use default vanilla sound effects and didn't want to use any sounds that you might use if you did make a custom resource pack.
e.g. Using a creeper sound, but you changed that creeper sound to something else with a resource pack.
Yep you're fine to assume that all sounds will sound like normal minecraft.
Thanks! I

Sorry yes, girl boss!
Yes! Awesome! Hope you have time to make an entry

Yep as long as you wrote to me about it in your submission (haven't read it yet) because I'll have to write it in again.

...Wow. I feel REEEALLY stupid right now.
You, once again, have saved my . Thank you!
No problem!
ONLY 2 weeks left!
