In the submission form, one of the fields is"Your Youtube Channel." Do we have to have one? I do actually have a channel, however I made it accidentally.
Nah you don't HAVE to have a youtube channel, but some people have a different channel name to their minecraft name.
I have one last question-
In the example entries, you can see what they look like from the outside. My entry has a ton of redstone all around the outside, making the outside ugly as heck. Is there any chance I could just have a button on a car (not part of the entry) that just teleports you straight to the starting pressure plate, inside the entry, so the user just *gets into a car* and is suddenly in this entry.
You could, but then the car would be part of the entry. As stated in the beginning, there has to be a "ground" floor so that it can be placed alongside all the others. So I imagine then that the car would be sitting on the ground floor... something like this would be totally acceptable. But as you can see with the below, you can't see any of the redstone that is all around it or on the bottom so it would hide it well.
See the way I've made mine, I started building without reading the ground floor part and now I've almost finished it. I have a big box with an open roof, and the exterior of the box is packed with loads of circuits and stuff. It has a ground floor, but fitting that in with the town (with all the exterior ugliness and redstone everywhere) isn't really gonna work. Will I just have to leave it as it is? There is an entrance to it, a small door, but the player walking to the door and going through it (all the time looking at the exterior with redstone) really is gonna break the immersion.
I'm not really sure what I can say :/ if you built it without reading the rules, and then it breaks rules, it isn't really my fault There is also the Redstone rule "All redstone above the ground level must be kept hidden from player view. Below ground, redstone can be visible from the sides (it will be underground), but not anywhere a player can see it." If it is an aesthetic choice like redstone being used for blood trails, that is fine, but being adventure mode means a player could break circuits so they absolutely cannot have access to the redstone circuits. If you're saying the ground floor is on the bottom, and the whole area above it has visible redstone up to the top, then it doesn't comply. I obviously don't want your work to go to waste, but if it doesn't follow the rules I can't accept it which sucks because it sounds like a lot of work has gone into it. I can't make exceptions else it would be unfair to everyone else who has already had to make sacrifices (and indeed some optimisations) to get it to fit.
I'll try to make one. I never played the first one, so I just make a challenge that fits in a 20 by 30 by 20 area? So could I just make anything? If so I know how to make difficult parkour

Make sure you read the rules and watch the video before you start! It isn't that simple
Logged in, started walking toward the town. I see a pressure plate on the ground in a crater, so I step on it. I'm in an enclosed room with 3 villagers. But I have nothing to trade and no way to break the clay (in adventure mode) without a shovel.
Are you clearing the player's inventory after every encounter?
You say the encounter must be sealed, as in 4 walls and a ceiling? The screenshots all have open-air examples.
If you die in the encounter, will you respawn at the entrance to the encounter, or at the start of the overall map?
By sealed I mean the player shouldn't be able to leave the encounter once they have "started" by stepping on the entrance pressure plate. If you die in the encounter, you will respawn at the entrance of the encounter you had last started.

You didn't break the template... look a little closer
Hey Jig, would it be okay if I sent in a new version of my entry, and you got rid of the old one? Because after playing it some, I realized that one part of my entry doesn't work properly, so I was hoping I could replace that part with something else.

You're free to send updates as long as the comp is open.
Jig question, can I have mob spawners above ground as long they're not visible? I had an idea involving Mob spawning Never Mind, but do I have to make the command blocks for entrance/exit?

You don't have to make them yourself, that's what the templates for. But if you don't want to use the templates then you have to use MCedit to copy and paste them in from the templates where you want them.

As someone already mentioned, it's a little bit of magic that can be done now... it's cool eh?

Oh, and how many entries have been submitted so far? Just wondering.
Also, here is an awesome suggestion I had: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1745550-biome-effects/
We're at 10 right now!
Also your entry was great. Very funny building I sent you some more feedback in email.
