Jigarbov, what's up with the template world? The templates look griefed, and the mushroom box is partly destroyed.
The mushroom boxes are just there as a size guide and are not important. They will be removed afterwards. As for the griefing, I'm not sure what you mean. The grass is only there as a guide and intended to be built apon.
You'll laugh when you hear the real reason why I haven't played it or any other compilation map.
It's because I can't figure out a way to list everyone's name in the intro clip.
Yeah, I'm THAT weird
Yeah no you just need an editing program. like windows movie maker or something then just make a template save that. When you get
your video load that in then render it. this also cuts down on upload time.
my friend and me are in a dillema... with spawners. how are you going to fix the coordinates and such??
I have a special filter that will recalculate coordinates for me when I import it, so just give me the world save and I can import and recalculate the spawner coordinates (thanks to texelelf for the filter)
I've got a question:
I can't find the redstone that keeps making it clear weather and day constantly (Im using the template map). Where is that in the map (so i can stop it (I want the map to be at night)). Also will it be possible to make it night and rainy for my entry, or does it have to be at day?
It's to the left of the completed example entries (ABCDE examples) That wont be there in the final map, it's only there to help with designing and building so you're allowed to set weather and time in your games.
I just amended the rules slightly and added a feature as well as fixed a few of the template spawners.
The extra rules are as such:
You may set time and weather within your encounter. Weather will be cleared on exit.
Hostile mobs cannot just be placed in the encounter by themselves and must be generated by spawners or dispensers. If the player changes it to peaceful, they would be removed causing problems with any encounters that used them.
Also the built in milk scoreboard feature will now also set the weather to clear
I have one small question, how many entries are we allowed to make?
Cuz if there is no limit, I will make about 5-10 :DDD
Allready haz one done (Its terrible) and a second half way done
And If you don't make it to 100, ask me, I will make as many as you ask, each with a different theme/idea
A couple more questions:
The mushroom barriers around the template, can I build on that same edge as the mushroom, or is the whole thing INSIDE the walls.
Also I can't fit the template entrance / exit inside my entry. What essential commands are required for each?
The entrance and exit templates MUST fit in the build area (unless they're at the very bottom, they can hang below) but not to the sides or out the top. You can retexture them (they don't_have_to be bedrock) however, the shape MUST be consistent and in the case of the entrance, it has to be below the entrance button, otherwise the commands wont work. They can't be in a different shape because I'll be MCediting the commands in and running filters, if they are not the same it will cause problems. And unfortunately I can't say "ok just for yours" because that isn't fair to anyone else. You'll have to make them fit.
The only thing I can say to console you is that the exit box doesn't have to be at the exit. As long as you run a signal to the red block when your encounter ends, it can be wherever you like.
Sorry I couldn't give you better news, but that's the fun in creating a size limit. Figuring out how to work around it and still create something great (And with your prestige I'm sure you can)
We're not going to make it to 100 at that rate, time to advertise in relevant situations
I'm doing all I can, my only hope is that everyone who submits, will help with getting the word out However, on the plus side we're going at a faster rate than last time. (And that one had a time limit of only 2 weeks!)

At this stage, only 1 entry per person. Of course the workaround for this, and any competition where you can only have 1 per person is getting your friends to help you, then slapping their name on it instead But I don't want to get to the end and have someone be like "actually, I made that one, can you credit me instead?" the credits go to the person who submitted, and only 1 submission per person. If that ever changes I'll be sure to post it everywhere
In the submission form, one of the fields is"Your Youtube Channel." Do we have to have one? I do actually have a channel, however I made it accidentally.
And I submitted it

"first" submission! Thanks I messaged you about some fixes that need doing. Good luck!
Mobs wont randomly spawn. All mobs must be from dispensers or spawners. I look forward to your entry!

I'm gonna take a rest first :/
Just finished up my adventure map, now I have time to focus on my encounter
No rush, you have a whole month!
I look forward to it.
Thanks for your entry! Really nice redstone and goal in this one.
