We recently finished our playthrough of the map and I have to say you really did a great job. Sure, there were a few bugs, but you almost always provided fixes or work-arounds instantaneous and we never really got stuck (except for that one time at the start of the ice caverns, but that was our own fault). The story was fun, the difficulty was pretty much spot on and the creativity that went into the puzzles is just outstanding. So many different kinds of puzzles - impressive. Another big positive was the voice acting. I don't think there has ever been a minecraft map with so many voiceovers. You also managed not to overuse voice actors, which is something even a lot of big-budget standalone games tend to mess up.
My favorite part
was the temple of time. I really love the time-stop mechanic. Oh, and Violet crying at the end of the Heath quest. That was great too.
Here is our final epsiode:
I'm already looking forward to your next maps, E4R7H seems to be coming alone nicely and I'm sure Learning Curve 2 is going to be great as well!

We're glad that you enjoyed the map so much! We loved watching your playthrough and hope that you'll choose to do another series once our next maps are ready for release! ^^
Well done to Devastation, Gryphus and LadyofShades for finishing their run of Templars of Hyrule! You can see the playthrough from each of their perspectives in their respective Let's Play series.
Hello! I'm Gryphus82 of the Scoundrel Squad! We absolutely loved this whole experience from Mental Block Gaming! Templars of Hyrule is immersive and expansive and fun as hell! If you love minecraft, if you love the Legend of Zelda, if you love playing games with your friends, why aren't you downloading this map by now?! Go! Do it! Seriously, if you don't have friends, hire some hookers you can group with some people from the forums, maybe, I dunno...
PLAY. THIS. MAP.
In all seriousness, it was a pleasure to be able to work with Mental Block Gaming as the first team to successfully beat the map! We were able to identify and fix a few bugs and potential issues for those of you intelligent, wise, and handsome enough to download and fire up this fun experience!
Thanks for the kind comment. ^^ Glad you enjoyed playing the map as much as we enjoyed making it! Watching the Let's Plays of your series was a pleasure.
After some feedback, we have implemented sliders to control music volume and NPC volume in the Resource Pack. Music is now controlled by the ambient slider, and NPCs by the player slider. Simply re-download the Resource Pack to update!
I'm having issues getting anything to load when I play with friends. I start a single player world on my lan and i don't see anything that would lead me to think this is pre built. I'm running 1.8 and am wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

What version of Minecraft are you running the game on?
I have just tried the download on my Minecraft (1.8.4) and booted the world up on single player. You should be at the spawn location.
Check your coordinates too. The world spawn should be (0,231,0)
If that doesn't work please let us know and we can try the next steps of diagnosing the issue.
So i updated to 1.8.4 and my spawn coordinates were (-71, 65, 176) so they are off from what they should be
It should be a flat world. And judging by the spawn coordinates given, I can see that another world is being generated instead of this map as your Y value is not 231.
Are you playing this on LAN or as a multiplayer server?
If LAN can I see a screenshot of your C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves folder please
If it is run on a server could I see a screenshot of the server folder.
Just to note, the above problems were caused due to the folder not being unzipped and stored in the correct location. The map download is still fine for everyone.

Will this work on 1.8.4?
I'm having issues getting anything to load when I play with friends. I start a single player world on my lan and i don't see anything that would lead me to think this is pre built. I'm running 1.8 and am wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
What version of Minecraft are you running the game on?
I have just tried the download on my Minecraft (1.8.4) and booted the world up on single player. You should be at the spawn location.
Check your coordinates too. The world spawn should be (0,231,0)
If that doesn't work please let us know and we can try the next steps of diagnosing the issue.

I am trying to play it on 1.8 and I am about to test the spawn location
