Hey. So this is my first posting and my first serious map. I've been a long time lurker and I figured I'd share the map I've been working on for a while. Any feedback would be great. Depending on the response I'll keep uploading new versions are I go.
Second Kingdom is for the most part a free roam exploration map with adventure elements and a bit of parkour thrown in for fun.
1) This is a work in progress. If you see a "WIP" sign somewhere I apologize in advance for breaking the illusion of the map. Eventually I plan to have the city cover everything south of the main wall but for now only the High City, the Castle and a few outlying building are complete. If you run into anything weird just let me know.
2) As I said this is mostly an exploration map. There is no set path for you to follow through the city. Just have fun and explore!
3) All buildings and rooms are accessible although some may take a bit of parkour, creative thinking or exploration to get inside and almost all buildings have secrets or tricks to find in them. Sometimes multiple ones. I've littered books and journals throughout the city and they paint part of the picture of what has been going on in the city. Until the city is completed more use these books to judge how good your search of the city has been.
Number of books:
High City: 29
Castle: 16
Northern Temple: 2
Arch Gate: 1
Main Wall: 1
4)Rules:
-Use the Sphax PureBDCraft texture pack. http://bdcraft.net/ (If it's running slow try using Optifine.)
-Set difficulty to Peaceful
-Play on Adventure Mode
-Turn render distance to far
-Don't break or place any blocks and if you find any Ender Pearls, NO TELEPORTING. You've got to work to get on those roof tops (But I think I got rid of them all.)
5) Hints:
-Look for hidden buttons and levers. I like to hide them in cracks and crevices.
-An Eye of Ender is a good sign that someone is up to no good. Be extra thorough in your search.
-Some journals/notes will hint at the locations of more journals and notes.
-Stuck? Just ask. I'll give you a hint.
