I remember the sign next to the iron door: "I told them many times WRONG DOOR!
We want pistons" That made me laugh. At one part, I stepped through a piston
door. It's a trap! It was a dead end, and a dispenser dropped out a Creeper. I, being nimble, barely jumped out before the Creeper detonated. I just found a warp in the map. I remember the button that said, "In case of Pigman Rage, Press button. That's a very nice house you have there. And the thing is really sneaky and smart. There's a button in one room saying "Press button to exit the Complex"; I knew something was wrong. So I pressed it. And I fell right into the yawning Void. I can't believe I was dumb enough to casually press that. It's quite easy to get lost- well, that means you did well, Qmagnet.
I would rate it 10/10. No, really, it's the best map I've ever played. Keep them coming, Qmagnet!
Best?!?!? You are way too generous. I'm happy you enjoyed it.
This map is so great. Love everything about it! Especially because it was challenging unlike other maps I've played. Really good job, keep up the awesome work!
i didn't really get ALL of the UID's
i forgot how many i got.
all that matters is my top 3 things about your map...
1. Pink Floyd references. Nice!
2. That bonus level...XD Stand by me...you are too good.
1. I cried.
also... ∞/10
i got 61
Hey you got the bonus story reference! I think most people thought it was just funny.
The map played with Pink Floyd mostly because the Wall is a similar story, of cutting off your mind from the real world.
But I do like PF!
Trying to avoid reading comments to avoid spoilers because I haven't quiet figured it out.
Looking for hints (ideas I may not have tried, places I may not have gone...)
Curious about what some less obvious stuff does (example: archery room)
Not looking for actual answers or being told exactly what to do next... (I want to find the solution myself, but I'm stumped right now)
I'll give my brain a few weeks to rest while I get videos up.
This is an amazing map. Just finished it, after about 2-3 hours of total play. I consider myself good with puzzles, but this map drove me insane until i figured it out. I will definitely play another map if you make it.
Btw, I got a new high score of 58 UIDs
I would have had 59, but I spawned the first egg, THEN realized that it was a score
P.S: I found the Easter egg. Ender Pearls are an amazingly helpful tool.

Finished it! Well, mostly, anyway. I wound up with 56 UID's -- UDI's? -- whatever. So I will probably still go back and try to find the rest.
This was my first adventure map, aside from Skyblock, and it was (is) AWESOME! You did a great job on this, and I hope you'll make more.
I liked the Cube movies, and recognized that influence immediately.
I will admit, I did possibly cheat a little. It wasn't actually clear whether or not this was allowed, so I wasn't sure whether I was cheating or not, but... When I got to the crafting table in the shed near the little house, I used that to make some of my melon slices into melons. I used the melons as blocks to help me reach things I couldn't quite jump to. Since the blocks wouldn't break once placed, I figured this was probably actually cheating, but I used it only (1) to reach things I was certain a petter "parkour" player could legitimately reach (I'm just not that good at the precision jumping, especially on a slow computer, so this made it possible for me to get to things that were intended to be reachable), and, a couple times, (2) to see whether you'd placed something for "cheaters" to find, or verify that there really wasn't anything to find in a place I didn't *think* was supposed to be reachable, but I wasn't sure.
There was one place, though, where I found a sign that said "cheater!", where I did NOT cheat to reach it. I used a PsychOrb to get there, which I'm sure was legit. (Come to think of it, I probably could have used PsychOrbs to reach every single place I reached by melon, too, if I'd just waited until later in the game when I had the Orbs, and then gone back to those places.)
I have some questions, out of curiosity, but I'm not sure how to do the "spoiler" cut thing yet, so I'll save those for another post.

Oh yeah -- I did find both endings. Love the Easter Eggs!
Although I didn't find all 64 collectibles, I think I should get bonus points because I also wound up wtih something like 23 Creeper spawn eggs in my inventory! You could well have put another UID where those were, too -- finding that one would make a great challenge.
Possible small spoilers below:
I also had a whole pile of mob drops. Creepers, zombies, skeletons, and spiders spawn all over the place in this map, at random, as well as in places where they're intended. Squid also spawn, and you find their ink sacs all over -- I had over 40 of them by the end. I even had 1 wool block, from a sheep I found. I didn't kill the mooshrooms, since they seemed to belong there, but I did kill the out-of-place sheep.
I also managed to put enchantments on the football helmet and the toy sword.
Question: Was the floating room/box, which could be seen from various places some distance off in the sky, where you wind up in some part of the end game? I tried getting there using PsychOrbs, with no luck.
Another spoiler-y question: There were some coordinates that referred to a location that was behind lava. I tried to get there in multiple ways, but could not. Did I miss something there? What was the significance of those coords?
Probably bigger spoilers below (how do I do that cut/hide thing with spoilers?) (ETA:got it!) -- don't read unless you've finished the game or don't mind spoilers:
Was the Spark intended to be useful anywhere other than its main intended use?
There was a button or switch labeled "Up". Operating it resulted in some noises high above. What was the purpose of that?
Does "leave me HERE / leave me ALONE" mean to leave one particular thing in a particular place? And nothing else? If you do that, does it affect something?
There was a shaft with ladder between 2 rooms, with 4 dispensers/whatever around it. Were those all purposely empty?
Are there any places where jumping into/through lava would not kill you? (I've seen some maps in videos where there was water underneath.)
In (or off of) one of the westmost rooms on the 2nd highest level, there was a trapped chest. I believe it was empty. What does opening it do?

By the way -- for multiplayer, I would just include a note that explains that no matter how many players are walking through the map, there's still only one CHARACTER that they are jointly playing. Or tell them to pick player #1 to be the character, and the rest are just along for the ride. Some people want a way to play with distant friends, and that's fine, but the story needn't change for that. Right?

THanks!! I'll know that for next time, now.
I'll address some of your items here.
The sheep should not be able to spawn. I'm not sure why they did.
That diamond box is pretty far away. You can't reach it with ender pearls.
The coords behind the lava are just a furnace that has a UID. You don't need to enter, just click in the direction.
Pretty sure the Spark is useless anywhere in the map except where intended.
The button with the "Up" is a bit tricky. If you go up 2 floors, there's a sign that says "Below". The Up one opens the access to a chest that is by the Below, so you have to hit the "Up" button, then go 2 floors up and grab the UID in the chest that is near the "Below" one.
"leave me ALONE / leave me HERE" is a hint to leave the book there in the chest so you will remember where "the PAIN" is. That why it says "Will you remember?". No one has understood this clue that I've seen. So I labelled the chest "the PAIN" just in case.
The shaft with 4 dispensers, I think the place you're talking about is 3 dispensers and 1 piston. The dispensers and pistons look almost identical. I was just trying hide the fact that there is a piston there.
All lava will kill you. There is no safety in Complex lava.
I'm not sure which trapped chest you are talking about. There's one that is connected to a command block that says "Empty. My bad." I tried to make funny excuses to why the map was blocked off rather than just a wall. If it's not that, I'm not sure which one.
I'm working on 1.7. This is basically the "Cheat Prevention Update". Watermelons will be apples now. Removing all levers and replacing with redstone blocks, since I've had some people break through and walk on the outside (which isn't really a problem but it's not really intended) - I wish Mojang would make lamps and glass unbreakable in Adventure mode. Fixing the biome layout so hopefully, squid and sheep don't spawn at all. The update will fix a bunch of stuff you mentioned.

Ah!
I probably did get the "below" one, since I started on the bottom level and worked my way up. Maybe I would have connected it with the "Up" sign if they'd been "Up" and "down" or "above" and "below", but "up" and "below" didn't link in my mind.
I actually did leave that book (and alll the others I had, since my inventory was getting full) in the "pain" chest. It would be nice if you could make something happen -- a UID to find? some other kind of bonus collectable? -- if someone leaves the one book there after opening the chest, that doesn't happen if they don't. Or if they leave more than that book. I don't know whether there's a way to test for which books/items are left, though. (I know you can test for 0 items vs. some, but I also don't think you can test for 1 vs. 2.)
The trapped chest was probably the "empty, my bad" one. I think I only noticed the "my bad" the first time I opened it, and after that I just noticed that it was trapped and wondered what it did.
One more suggestion.
I thought the hint to leave the "undeveloped" personalities at the end was pretty clear, and I'm surprised more people didn't get it. But it would also be nice if it actually made a difference to the endgame.
The hint in the begginning that the end is "impossible for you alone" is intended to warn you that you can't escape in the end. But now that there are 2 endings, maybe it should be that as long as you are "alone" you can't escape, but if you are not "alone" -- if you keep those UID's on you -- or better yet, spawn at least one of them!! -- then you can escape to the light? You would need some more clues, I think, to give people the idea to actually spawn some, without being TOO obvious about it. (And the UID's are supposed to be optional, I know, but it's pretty unlikely that anybody would actually get to that point without having at least one, right?)
Maybe there could be a pressure plate that is the only way to open a door safely, but the only way to get the door to open and stay open is to put a spawned villager (or some other spawned entity) on the pressure plate? This wouldn't work in multi-player, but then in multi-playwer the character isn't "alone" from the start, so that's a little different anyway. But in single player... maybe a minecart on a pressure plate in an alcove, since once you push a mob into a minecart it stays there? And the minecart would also help give people the idea to put a mob in there.
That's a Mojang issue. Maybe you can submit a bug report.
Thank you.
Best?!?!? You are way too generous. I'm happy you enjoyed it.
Wonderful. It was fun making it.

I don't know. It just worked fine for me. You just have to wait 5 second and hit the skip button. Then it should go to the download link.
Great! Glad you liked it. Not bad for my first adventure map you think?
Awesome! Thanks for trying it out!

I did that, too. I mean, both of those. Yeah.
Would never have occurred to me that I wasn't supposed to, though. Just using the tools I was given, after all!
Ah, so I wasn't the first to do that! I hadn't read through this thread before my playthrough, though, so I did at least have the idea independenly.
That would also have been a great place to hide a UID.
