So I have been playing the 1.8 version of Pantheon and I am sort of upset at how easy it has been. I expected tons of rage-quit-worthy areas, and just plain meanness on the map maker's parts such as traps that would make the player fall in void, but instead I am greeted with tons of enchanted gear and tools. (I currently have protection 3 or higher iron armor and a sword that deals 12.5 hearts of damage. I am too OP) I have been watching GOB fail at this map, so maybe it is hard for other people, but I think it is easy. The following are just my opinions:
Spawn/First Wool/Intersection 1 was kind of easy. Most of the times I died there were from the stupid "tree poison" spawners. If you are going to update the map again, you might want to remove some of the OP loot at the lapis area. Just sayin'. Deaths in I1: About 5 times.
Intersection 2 was also rather easy. Kingkaider's wool was straightforward. Isaac's place was easy even though the poison there was annoying. Misty Deep was kind of difficult since I only had leather armor, but not insanely difficult. Deaths in I2: About 10 times...darn wither skeletons...
Intersection 3 were overall pretty easy and fun. The Dormant Mines were extremely boring, but easy since I enchanted an iron pick-axe to get efficiency 4. Then I busted straight through those god-forsaken silverfish spawners. Belly of the Beast was interesting. The laboratory was cool to go through since it was unpredictable. In that area, I only died once in that area due to that weird teleport that seems to happen to a lot of people in the beast. ColdFusion's area was nice too. I smelted the gold to get Notch apples so I can go beast mode whenever needed, but the design of the area was cool. Deaths in I3: About 3 times.
Intersection 4 was a breeze too. For the large plains area, I got the disk easily using enderpearls, and the castle wasn't all that hard if you knew what you were doing. The ghast area in the same intersection was easy since I bridged right over everything, and went straight for the wool. Deaths in I4: One time due to one of the traps on the way to the castle.
The Nesting Grounds is where I am at right now, and I have a question. Why are these damn pigmen always angry at me? They aren't really hard to kill with my OP sword, but rather, they are annoying to deal with.
Just wanted to share my final thoughts on the Citadel of Sapphire.
Now that's how you play the map Pantheon! Seriously though, did you get the TNT legit, or were you goofing around in creative mode and came up with the idea of blowing the Citadel up?
I started a series on this map where I had one of my friends play as the evil villain trying to stop us from getting the wool. Twas so much fun! Thanks for making an awesome map and let me know what you think of it!

Figured I would post this episode as well, since it's pretty much the last. Spoilers for those who don't want to see the final dungeon. It's been a blast. Loved the map, even in it's delta version (don't know what people were talking about saying it's too hard). Next time make it harder!!

As long as you have a pick you'll be fine. Just keep running...

Congratulations on making it Will definitely check it out when I have the free time!
So I found the Stal disc; still can't figure out where Chirp and Strad are. Below I will apply my best deductive reasoning.
The hint for Chirp is "I burn / I break / I boil / The ground above me trembles". There are two areas that fit that criteria: The Misty Deep (the lava pit at the bottom burns and boils, and the layers above it have numerous TNT traps) and Rumblehiss Ruins (Again, lava, plus you have to break blocks to get at a lot of the treasure. And of course, it goes under Rumblehiss Nest, which has lots of creepers and explosions).
As for Strad, the only area I can think of that has beacons and a tower is Colossus Devorantum (those glowstone things look like beacons, and the clouds sort of swirl around them. And there's that massive tower/castle thing). However, the hint also says "I step to the side". Well, there is that side room in the castle that's filled with sand. I'm going to have to dig it out, aren't I. The problem with this theory is that Colossus Devorantum already has another disc, though given the fact that it's so huge it's not a big stretch for it to have two.

Am I on the right track?
I think I mentioned the last time you posted that Dormant Mines and Flickering Isle swapped locations for the 1.8 update, but the discs stayed in the same overall order. The hints were not updated to reflect this. Also, "beacons" quite literally means beacons. As in, the blocks that shoot up giant beams of light.

Current projects:
Thanatos - a subterranean semi-open-world urban CTM

Pinnacle - a "sketch" mini-CTM intended for newer players (nearing completion!)
The title doesn't really work, as this isn't a Super Hostile map.

Hey there, all. I stream CTMs as well as other indie games, Minecraft servers and probably that's it. I'm your supreme overlord too so I command you to CHECK ME OUT: www.twitch.tv/techniclepanther
ok Im half-way there through the map... But a small problems though, at the Windborne Spires area of Intersection 4, sometimes the spawners come back whenever i break them. And when I hit the mobs, it registers the hit very slowly.

Sounds like a lag issue on your end. I'd let the area load a bit, and try lowering your render distance.
Nope!
Secrets!

Nobody will ever say the Project CTM team doesn't stick to deadlines. Making them, however, is a different beast in it's own right.
That was beautiful.
Sorry for the long read-

Did you know that 83.1% of statistics are made up on the spot?

Thanks - from that info I think I know where both of them are now.

NO FIRE
CANT RAGE

WILL RAGE BY EDITING OUT DUPLICATE SCENES, MOSTLY DEATHS AND BASE TRIPS AND PRETENDING THIS WAS AN EASY MAP BY NOT PUTTING COMMENTARY IN THE VIDEO.
