Just walked into Rapid Retreat for the first time and found this laying on the ground:
Is that intentional? I haven't picked it up, so if it isn't I can avoid it.
Edit: So I just found Intersection 4, and to be honest, I'm not sure if I want to continue playing this or not solely because there's no teleporter or shortcut of any kind. And, "if you want a teleporter, maybe you should play an easier map"? Intentionally leaving out a shortcut like that doesn't increase the challenge. All it does is make it more annoying and time-consuming to actually get settled and move on to the final areas. I even conquered the provided base without it blowing up, and yet I don't feel inspired to move all my stuff there.
Assuming that I continue playing the map, I have two options.
1) Beat the other two areas of I3 (Rapid Retreat was the first one I did), and then take three or four hours to move all my stuff to the provided base.
2) Keep the base I have established at the monument, but take an extra 10-15 minutes walking back and forth through Rapid Retreat every time I make a supply run.
I'm going to finish Intersection 3 and then decide what to do from there. This map is in open beta, right? I'm likely going to continue playing and finish the map, but here's some feedback: Put a two-way teleporter to I3 or the monument in I4. Sure, it might make the map a little bit easier, but that's a small price to pay for saving players a lot of time.
On a more positive note, though, Rapid Retreat is a great area. Probably my second favorite so far behind The True Hell. Died three times in it, though, all in the second part of the area (two from fall damage in the same spot, one from blazes in the provided base).

ok, I'll add a teleporter. I just wanted to make sure the player conquered the blaze part of rapid retreat. Just hop in creative mode to move your stuff and if you ever want to go from i3-i4 you can just fly.
have fun,it has more loot than any other area in the map so be sure to loot it good.

Nice job
Loved the loot in True Hell. Those towers were fun.
Great map so far but I think it would be even stronger if the areas were reduced in size. Lots of lag and very easy to get lost or distracted.
Look farther into deathbloom mines, also the entire series is going to have large areas, I'm not going to reduce them in size.
So I've spent the last hour wandering around the death bloom mines but still haven't found the next intersection. Another clue, please?
Its straight forward from the start, and in a quartz pillar.
LPing it later.
