Atlantis is a resort in the Bahamas after which this map is modeled.
If you have heard of an Atlantis map before, that one is located in Dubai, which was made after the Bahamas location and is far less visited and known. Also, the Dubai map only had the hotel. I wanted to be able to experience Atlantis in Minecraft, a true Atlantis experience, and I wanted others to also. So, I made this map.
Windows 7 or before:
1. Go the the start menu.
2. Click "Run"
3. Type %appdata%
4. Click on .minecraft
5. Drag the map data into "saves"
6. Drag the resource pack into "resourcepacks"
Windows 8 or 8.1:
Same as Windows 7, except type %appdata% into the top bar in the file explorer.
Mac OS X:
1. Go to Finder
2. Click "Go" on the menu bar at the top of the screen
3. Click "Go to Folder"
4. Type "~/Library" (without the quotes)
5. Click on "Application Support"
6. Click "minecraft"
7. Drag the map data into "saves"
8. Drag the resource pack into "resource packs"
The custom texture pack is not my sole creation, and is basically a modified version of Skalander97's Tropic Pack, but edited to work with this map specifically. Check out his pack here.
The water texture on the resource pack for 1.8 is from LIIE's resource pack. Full credit to him for the water. Check it out here!
Also, this map was created by ME, TonyArnold2, so don't take anyone else's copy. THIS is the original.
For example, user CobaltTekkit on PlanetMinecraft blatantly stole this map, this description, my screenshots, and the texture pack, and reposted it on PlanetMinecraft claiming it was his. However, that post was taken down.
I recently updated this map to make the textures compatible with the newest version of Minecraft. By all means, it should work.
Thanks for downloading and enjoy!
