I am stuck at the part where you take Gwen out on a date. I went to her apartment and took her to the movie theater. It was late so I went to sleep at my house. i didn't know what to do next so I walked around the next day. I saw Gwen at the bark near the lake. I couldn't get inside. I tried different time periods. Any suggestions?
I'm about ready to resort to that cheat sheet. >.< I think my problem is I don't know if I'm making any sense of progress or what my goal is.
Bugs and more detailed questions:
The message when I wake up changes, does that even mean anything? Am I making any progress by just burning through the days?
"maybe we'll bump into each other at the festival" plays around five times in a row. Not sure what that's about.
If my house is at 143 Cliffton, why is it labeled 143 Johnson? Lack of sign space? I get that that's supposed to be my name, but it left me searching all over town for my house because I thought I was on the wrong road.
So I talk to Investor Coworker Whose Name Escapes Me, he directs me to Gwen. I head to both the library and high school and neither are open?! What?! The only way I managed to get to her was at the high school at one point without ever hearing it from the coworker, and she said nothing of note.
I've tried giving the homeless dude my million dollars and underwater riches, and he didn't turn into some fairy and say "you have passed the test!", so I'm out of ideas for trying to break the spell by being nice.
Having the million dollars and the riches (by memorizing the map and only buying the boat) didn't make me win either. Huh.
I noticed when I donate food I get a key. Goodie....what's it for? >.<
There's some farm and multiple houses that seem worthless...
Gwen seems worthless, but that dude above me says you can take her on a date....
There doesn't seem to be a second during the entire day, dusk til dawn, that you can access Gwen in the library. Not one.
I tried robbing the bank. At one point the bank robbed itself , so that was weird (bet it was that hobo...), but the person at the desk blurted out the code. Aaaand the code doesn't do anything. "6 counter then 3 then 6" well yeah, but what does that mean? Press the buttons that many times? Shift the black square to the spot by the sign that says 6 or 3, respectively? CONFUSED!!! Nothing is working!!
There's also an observatory. That's probably useful for something. Still dunno what.
Clearly you're not supposed to light the tnt with the flint and steel that's in a nearby item frame. I blew up so much redstone, I just went ahead and restarted the map.
I'm lost, confused, and frankly getting frustrated. Currently watching the yogscast to see if they point me in the right direction (or their equally chaotic wandering will make me feel better about my failures).
Restarted map, watched yogscast video where they immediately got the Gwen thread of the story rolling. After about 10 days of trying to figure out how I was supposed to make the date with Gwen work correctly I finally got it. I might try for the other routes, but good lord I'm using a guide!

at the ending, it said I got the treasure and paid the homeless. Well I did, just not that particular day.
The bank blew itself up at random again, and implied someone robbed it. I slept, bank was still blown up. That just seems like a bug. I know for sure you can reset that with the fancy modified spawners. I also for the life of me never figured out how to crack that stupid vault. I moved the black block counterclockwise until it was by the 6 sign, then clockwise to the 3 sign, then counterclockwise to the 6 sign again, pressed the blue button, NOTHING! Unless I was supposed to press the button that many times. Could have sworn I tried that too. Urge to kill pumpkinmen, rising...
something was broken with the redstone that makes pumpkingirl show up at the bar. It's originally an empty slot with a clearly visible piston, then it pushes the pink wool in.
Actually flipped through the cheat sheet. Even it doesn't tell how to open the vault. ARRRGGHHH!! Is it even possible?!
at the ending, it was evening rather than morning when we woke up. Then again I am a very heavy sleeper after all that...
And the best part: the minecraft launcher's flavor text as I exited the game:
Deja Vu
Good map overall, even if it is a bit frustrating. Sometimes I really wish there was more direction. There was a lot of trial and error involved, moreso than necessary by the map's theme.
The second time I went into the bank there was a random explosion when I asked the guy on the left, and when I first went to the diner a load of Gwen stuff came up
This is a great map! I love it! I couldn't find the bank though, So I think it could be more easier if you had a map to look at But your buildings are amazingly built
Hello Map Creator, I'm not sure where to contact you from, as you've left no email to message you at. But I would like to ask for your permission to borrow the house design of a couple of the houses on your map (preferably the one you spawn in). Credit will be given where credit is due, and I'd rather have your permission to use it, than to steal it without asking. Please get back to me when you are able to (by comment or by emailing [email protected])
GAH!!! I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE! i tried killing myself in the map, i even tryed giving money to that homeless dude... BUT IT WONT STOP REPEATING! XD .-. i'd hate this if this was real... but i like how it was lined up with the deja vu map and stuff... i got to the day where he says 'ugg, here we go again' over and over... what now?

You know, as old as this map is it still looks darn good, if I do say so myself. Well anyway, We wanted to let everybody know that we're back in the game making business, but this time with a unique creation! It's called Business Cards: The Card Game! and features (once again) John Johnson, everybody's favorite corporate fat cat, as the manger of an office. If you enjoyed Deja Vu or Tuscarora a million years ago when they were new, you should check it out and help us spread the word if you can! Thanks for looking!

Thank you, and have a wonderful day!
