Hello there guys! You are probably here for one thing and one thing only. A Harvest Moon Map in Minecraft?!? So this idea came to me the other day while playing Harvest Moon and I realized that I could be able to make it in minecraft and so I did.
For now, it is still a work in progress and I'm looking forward to making it bigger and better. Any help/advice/suggestions are welcome. If you're looking to contact me, message my profile here and I'll be sure to respond to you a.s.a.p!
So what is Harvest Moon for all of those people out there that don't know what it is? Well, Harvest Moon is a game in which you live a new life farming, cooking, foraging, mining, taking care of animals, etc. So basically, you're a farmer with a new life. In this game, there are many unlockables just like I have implimented into the Minecraft Version. So the point to the game is to live your new life and unlock everything.
In this version, the Minecraft Version, I have got many ideas from the games and put them into the map. Things such as Fishing, and doing quests. Like I stated earlier, if you have any ideas just hit me up and i'll see what we can do from there.
Thanks for reading!
StoryLine: Hello there son, I am writing to you this letter because it seems to me that you are not liking life in the city. I want you to have my old farm where I used to live when I was your age. You should try out life in the country. You might like it just like I did when I was a kid. So, if you are up to the challenge of commiting yourself to a new life, please go to Anvil City and you will see the farm. I've swung by the place a couple days ago and I left you some things that you are going to need. Well son, I hope you accept this offer. -Love Dad.
None for now but if you make one, msg me and I will post it here!
Game Instructions: •For this game there are MANY instructions so make sure and read them all! -You CANNOT destroy or place any blocks unless told and with the exception of: Mob eggs, cobblestone, saplings, seeds/wheat, items from quests. (all I can think of for now) -In the map, there are dispencers and chests. You can only put things into the dispencers and chests you own. -In people's houses, there are dispencers which contain items. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE ANYTHING FROM THE DISPENCER UNLESS TOLD BY A QUEST! You can ONLY take the book(s) from inside and read them. Remember to return the books when you are done reading them. -Scattered around the map are random dispencers. If you see a book next to them Titled: Quest Item. DO NOT take that item unless you are doing it for a quest.
-Can be played with multiple people but for now, I built it on a scale of 1 person.

How to Install:
This should be another quick tutorial to get a map from the internet onto your hard drive and then into your saves.
1. Download the map from the download section above. 2. Download the map to a place that you will remember (Downloads folder, Dekstop, wherever) 3. Unzip or Unrar the file using your archiver of choice (WinRAR, 7Zip, etc). 4. Copy the folder that was unzipped, unrared, etc., and navigate to your Minecraft saves folder:
If you're running Windows, your saves are located here: Press the Windows Key and R at the same time. In this dialogue type (or copy and paste) the following %appdata%\.minecraft\saves
If you're running on a Mac, your saves are located here: /Users/*username*/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/
If you're running Linux, your saves are located here: `/.minecraft/saves
5. Paste the folder and re-name it if you desire. 6. Play Minecraft with the new map!
