No breaking blocks (including Glass and Glowstone).
2 players are required - 1 for each team. Only 1 vs 1 is allowed. No 2 vs 2.
Note: You can swim in the water. If you fall into the water, it does not mean that you have to swim back to the start and try again. You can swim to the nearest block and continue.
Note: Checkpoint indicates how far behind/ahead you are from your opponent.
How to Play
Parkour Battle requires two players - one for each team (Red and Blue). The objective is to be the first to reach the finish line.
Entering the Battlefield
To enter the battlefield, you need to join a team. Choose either 'Red' team or 'Blue' team at the beginning. Then enter the small room and step on the pressure plate to teleport you to the waiting room.
If you want to observe the battle, proceed to the 'Observation Deck' by pushing the button at the beginning.
You will teleport to the waiting room after you step on the pressure plate. If you want to leave, push the button in the room.
The game will not start until a player joined the opposing team. Once both players are ready, a countdown will begin and the game will start (the gold blocks will move down).
This is where you and your opponent 'battles'! The 'battle' is to reach the finish line as quickly as possible.
There will be a 'checkpoint' check which indicates how far behind/ahead you are from your opponent.
The diamond blocks marking (or other blocks) indicate the end of the course.
A message will pop out, saying that the player have reached the Finish Line. To determine who won the game, the player's name that is first called out is the winner.
Leaving the Game
If you are the first to finish the battle, you have to wait for your opponent to finish it. Once both players reached the finish line, you can proceed to the room in front of you.
Both players are to stand on the pressure plate to leave the game.
Falling into the water does not mean you 'fail' and have to restart all over again. You can swim to the end, but your opponent will beat you to the Finish Line!
You can play a course as many times as you want.
It is recommended to have a test run to familiarise with the map before having an actual challenge.
Download (English) PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING:Please enable the Command Blocks setting, otherwise teleportation will not work. If you are playing on a non-Bukkit server or LAN, choose 'Vanilla'. If you are playing on a Bukkit server, choose 'Bukkit'.
Course 1 - Iron Facility (232m) Vanilla - Bukkit
Course 2 - Iron Facility II (436m) Vanilla - Bukkit
Course 3 - Ancient Library (366m) Vanilla - Bukkit
Course 4 - Golden Facility (468m) Vanilla
For which part? The entering of the course, or the finish?
Enter: Blue Team: x: -1107.48640
Red Team: x: -1086.47642
Also, observation deck does not work for me.
Coord: (to enter)
That's strange. The coordinates are correct, but the teleportation fails. Maybe you need to change the server settings so that you can teleport? Are you playing on LAN? If it is LAN, it should work. From your video, I can see that you are playing on a server. By the way, /gamerule commandOutput false should not show the command message and I have tested it out in Singleplayer.
I have seen one (in Hebrew) that proves that this map is fully playable in Multiplayer. Please enjoy the map! More courses will be released in the future, and it will be much longer than the first one!
Thanks! Just posting the ip here: mc.flapcraft.net if you are in the server use /warp 1v1 to get to it. I am planning on adding stage 2 to it as well but that is hard because both maps are on the same coordinates.
The reason this does not work for some people is that they are running it on a bukkit server with the essentials plugin on it, if so the need to change all the /tp xyz commands to /tppos xyz.
Thanks for telling me about the /tppos commands. By the way, this map is not called 't3c', it is called 'Parkour Battle'. Please change it in your server. I will be adding the Bukkit version of the map.
