Hypermine — it is a working name. It is not just another map on passing through the famous plot of the film. It is not a copy or a paraphrase of an existing plot. You can take this as a new story, addition. This is a completely new vision. In the universe of the Cube, we know just three versions of this machine. I create The Fourth version. Chronologically, it will be between the first and second films. The mechanism still has the dimensions of a cube from the first film. It cubic matrix of 25 rooms on each side. Plus one room, which moves around the matrix, which is a bridge to a single one out from the machine.

10 types of triggers to activate the traps. Death trap from which there is no exit except death. The traps that will kill you if you do not quickly find a way out of the room. The map will be generated by the player. Directly at the beginning of the game. This mechanism will provide a complete mismatch of map for different players.
Hypercube (3 version)
At any time on the map will be only 7 rooms. Every following room will be generated on as the player moves. And the old room will be deleted. This is evolution of the map. This is a transitional version to the hypercube, which we saw in the film. In this map will no longer be the standard exit, as it was before. This is potentially an infinite cube. To get out of it, it will be necessary to solve the complex puzzle.
The map is made under the inspiration of the movie The Cube 2. That is until the preliminary data on the map:

I have some updates for you. I have started make a special mod for this map. Because it is impossible make different blocks, items and events just with Command Block.
I decided to make a room similar to the one that you can see in the film. Rooms from the first film I did not like very much. But maybe in the future I will make a version for them. Or maybe someone else will just make a resource pack to this map. =) Nevertheless, I took a photo of the wall of room and put on it approximate grid of blocks. Actually in a real room door is twice less. But I increased it, so that it fits exactly into 4 blocks. It does not spoil the view, but comfortable.
So. Look at this insane blocks!
They have true volume. It is not just a texture.
And finally, they glow!
Blocks are made not finalised. There are a few things that I probably will alter later. Plus it is necessary to not be lazy and do normal UV mapping.
Now I have to figure out to how they turn. It appeared not such clear as I would like. Maybe can someone tell me sensible article that explains this in detail?

When I started making this map, I decided to make the room as close to the real size. Therefore, I chose the size of the room 8x8x8 blocks (right). But maynkrafte sizes perceived a little differently. And I wanted to make the room more functional. So I increased the size to their inner sizes 10x10x10 blocks (left).
