Intro: Greetings everyone. This is a brand new map that I have decided to release today. It is still a work in progress, but the idea is...well...a lot of ideas. This adventure map has 3 acts and each act has several quests to complete. There is a fully functional town, fully functional shops using command blocks and so much more. It provides with neat puzzles, frustrating parkour areas, exhilarating combat zones and just plain awesome archery targets. Anyways, enough with the intro, there's a lot of information to give you.
Background Story: When the map is finished, the file will also contain a text document with a full all out background story about everything, but for now, settle with this.
You are the child of a farmer. If you are in multiplayer, you are his children. Hey siblings! You do not know your mother, but your father was once a knight, one of the best. When he retired, he raised a family as a farmer. Now, you are packing up to go to the Guardian's Land where your father used to work as a knight. There, your life will change...forever.

Philosophically speaking, what do you mean by, looks good nice job. I made sure the pic gave enough proof the map is not a virus and at the same time not giving away too much of the map. The map also takes at least a few hours to complete with just act 1 alone and you have made several posts in rapid succession. Is this based on the pic, the story, the presentation, or is it merely something you say to everyone? Again, philosophically speaking, I don't mean to offend anybody here.
I want to see someone make a map with 'coros zombie awareness' mod installed in mind. It really ramps up the difficulty on even vanilla minecraft. Great job by the way I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.
Hopefully, once I finish my current project in a few days, I'll get to work on act 2 again. It may take a week or two. Just know that the map will be reset for you, so anyone who finishes act 1 and wants to continue where they left off, they'll need to cheat a bit.
Just finished act 1. This map is awesome! Dynamic chat, good use of Command Blocks, and neat shops. It wasn't as great as some of the most popular maps on the fourms, but it's simple and unique, making it overall epic. Though, it was confusing at the part where a sign reads "start digging." I had to switch to Creative mode to get out. Also, it was confusing to me that you had to exit an area by backtracking, but that gave me a chance to check out all the decorations I missed while fighting. Keep working on this map, I like it so far!
Thanks so much for trying out the map. I like a lot of the points you make. The digging area, um, I didn't explain that well did I? It originally gave you pickaxes for digging, but I had issues with that, see, the new update allows you to break blocks if you have the right tools in adventure mode, see what that does to my map? Instead, it changes your gamemode to survival. To get through, you have to punch the stone. I can't think of a better solution, if anyone has an idea, please suggest it. I will also make sure to add a sign at the end of the 2nd and 3rd quests to tell players to go back to town. And yes, I like having players head backwards. It gives them a chance to catch their breath, enjoy the scenery, and find any hidden chests they could have missed while fighting. Again thanks for posting. Maybe next time, when you try out act 2, you'll get more emeralds. I try to sneak them in a lot. There is at least a stack of 64. Maybe close to 100 so far in act 1 alone.
Yea, see, placing each block by yourself for a map takes a long time. Imagine making it look nice by making dynamic hills as the borders of each area...ehh..kinda hard. The reason the walls are so high is it'd look even sillier to be able to see other parts of the map...quest 2 for example is very high. That's why it has those tall bedrock walls. There's not a lot of room left to add prettiness to the town, but I'll think of something. Thanks for making a recording, it'll make my front page look nicer.
Um, if you decide to retry, go to the big square field of tripwire. That teleports you to spawn. Also, lol about the potions. Me and my brother decided to pvp with potions...guess everybody else got them too lol...
Very minor, but I modified the read me file and added a new text file in case players get confused. New link on first post. That should be the last update today. Sorry about the issues with the map so far. I could never have guessed. :/
The website I use to upload images is currently not letting me upload anything. I'd like to ask a favor and that is that when you play the map that you take a screenshot or two and upload them here. I'll post the best ones on the front page.
I'd also like to mention that I realized that when I add acts 2 and 3, veteran players will be tempted to cheat and skip to those acts. I have decided that each time I release a new act, I will add a brand new side quest to the other acts. This is to urge veterans to replay the map.
I'd also like to mention that I will start work on act 2 soon. I'm still not sure when, but it'll probably either be this weekend or next week. It may take some time, so I suggest being patient.
Others are wondering how I made the map and when. I started working on the map on october 1st and used the snapshots to build the map. I built the thing with cheat codes on and they are still on for players who feel the need to cheat.
