We just played this map in multiplayer (two friends and me) and this map rocks! We spend nearly 3 hours just to make the town safe to walk in (even with three people it was really a challenge) and another three hours exploring the first tree dungeons.
I really like how you designed the dungeons, mush attention to details, nicely done traps (ice dungeon and really nice theming (thief dungeon). So we already got 6 hours of awesome playtime and we owe it all to you, AutomatorMC. Thank you! You can expect some donations coming your way
We just didn't find any Nether Star in the dungeons we explored. Is there a star in every one of them? And will we find them inside a chest or are they hidden elsewhere?
Thanks, very glad you are enjoying the map.
There is not a star in every dungeon so in case you feel one might have been missed I made up a cheat map for 2.0:
Most stars are located in chests, one in a dispenser, and I believe one in an item frame. There is also a star in another location not shown on the above map. Good luck
Spawned in the end, in creative, in a nether room, this cant be right because i explored a bit and found that one is an entrance the very next one is the end of the map
dafug? i downloaded the map and played on singleplayer, when i selected the world it spawned me in the end in creative with a beacon
and a chest with 2 potions
Hey please help me out, I got to this Ice Dungeon and there were these wierd looking mobs with ice blocks as heads, and then I got to a button that said "Ring, ring" and I decided against pushing it and seeing what it would do first. I saw the hole in the ceiling and blocked it off. I pressed the button and I heard something spawn. I destroyed the blocks I had used to fill up the ceiling and pressed the button again. It spawned 2 of these wierd Ice Boss Mobs, and they were so powerful ( I hit them with my EPIC sword and they still didn't die after 8 hits) that I had to go into peaceful to not die. So then I went up to the whole and saw the spawner. I destroyed the spawner. Now what I need help with is, does that Boss drop anything? If so, what? Because I have no chance of knowing incase it was a nether star or similarly quest-important item. Please reply ASAP!
Sorry for the trouble it should have spawned only one boss then self destructed via tnt. The ice boss drops armor and a bow slightly better than the normal ice skeleton drops. There is no star or lever in the ice dungeon.

Thanks, at least I didn't lose anything valuable! By the way, where is that "cheat map" because I would like to know where the entrance to the nether is. Actually I found it once. I accidently stumbled in the woods and heard some zombies, and since it was daylight they had to be underground. So I digged next to a random tree and fell into the Nether Portal Dungeon, and got blown up by a bunch of ugly creepers, and couldn't find the same spot again.
I wanna add this to my server as a secondary map for players to try but the portals (nether and end) don't work. My guess is because my server already has a nether and end from my normal map, is there a way to fix this? I run a bukkit server, with multiverse, among other plugins.
And a one up for you good sir. One problem i kept running into was constantly getting lost. Maybe put a few main roads/landmarks (the greenhouse is a great landmark actually).
Also, a little height variation wouldnt hurt.
I love the ever powerful loot. It's defenitely a challenge.
I recommend 3-4 players, as one is very hard (and lonely) and any more is too competitive and leaves little loot for others.
each
One more suggestion; Different indestructible houses or structures around the map with a beacon to mark it as a "Checkpoint". Then, put commandblocks that set a person's spawnpoint there when they step on a pressure plate or something. It's kind of aggravating having to go across the map every time you die.

Assuming you pasted it into your existing map I would go through the nether portal to create a new one in the nether then paste the ender-bent nether so the portals line up. I have never attempted two end portals in a world.
If it's not a copy paste then I have no clue.

All good ideas which I will take under consideration.
So I've collected 10 of the 12 stars, and finally decided to head to the end. Once I completed the portal and put the eye of ender in the final piece nothing happened. Is there something I'm missing? I really hope it didn't glitch after all of that..
Otherwise great map, had loads of fun playing so far.
Look to see if it matches exactly the blocks on either side. If you stood to the side it may be incorrect. I would slip into creative just to replace the block then continue in normal survival.

and a chest with 2 potions

Here's our let's play! Great job on the map. Will be uploading more C:
May we be put in a let's play section?
There is no LP section as of yet.
