I have played it for a while and can't unlock the challenges. How do i unlock them?
The challenges unlock over the course of the game, I think the first one is after about 6-8 rounds. I plan on releasing an update within 1-2 days with a few new features that will help you keep track of the progress.
Thanks for the playthrough! It's good to know people are still willing to play. ^.^
In case anyone else is interested, I plan on doing 2 more patches on this map, one within the next few days, and then one for after the competition. The next one will be mainly bug-fixes, with only a possible mini-game added in.
In other news, I have started planning a new map. It should be a much faster build, but unfortunately it will be a PVP only kind of map. That's all I plan on letting up for now
all of the secret rooms don't open for me after the firs play through?
They are "random" so you might have a little trouble with your success. Also, I would highly discourage playing on the snapshot versions. I have no idea if the BUD design still works, so that may be the reason.
Well, depending on what kind of map it is, it should be really cool!
It's hopefully going to be a remake of a certain DM arena. I plan on having a few different game modes as well as win detection and actual weapon spawns. It should be very fancy, yet incredibly lightweight.
I updated the OP with the finalized date of the competition. I really want to push to get a final release of this out before 1.5, for compatibility reasons, and it will be a complete pain if the mechanisms start failing when people don't want to downgrade.

Has anyone like sent any messages to you with any entries for the competition? I meant to work on the blanks but I sorta fell way behind on doing that...

Actually, no. It's gotten something like 300 downloads on the blanks maps, but not a reply so far. I'm a little worried...

I'm going to submit mine (I started yesterday). Also can I have signs that tell the players thoughts?
And just confirming: if I have a colored wall it might open it might not open. But if I have two walls that are the same color, one or the other will always be open.
I was working on one, and actually had the third dungeon nearly complete, but then my computer basically baked. Hard drive is basically destroyed... So I might have to be out on this one. If I have the time, I'll rustle something up though.

Aw that's not good, Fangride!
I have an idea now, though, for what I could do for all the blanks. Before I was kind of stuck on ideas, but now I have some.
Hm. I guess I will get to work then on the blanks so that you at least have something to use
If only one person enters (and thus only one person wins), does he/she get all 3 prizes, for a total of 6 steam games?
Eh. They're not very expensive games, I'll admit, but they are all very good ones. There is a good chance that people might already have them, in which case I suppose I will cascade the prizes. I'm thinking I'm going to try and get a few more before the competition is up, so there will be even more up for grabs.

I don't see why you can't have the signs. The only thing to remember is that the player will be going through it more than once, so you have to stay away from making the signs painfully repetitive.
And yes, with the doors/walls. a single colour will only have a chance of being open, 2 of the same colour will alternate. Also, something I should have put in is that you're not restricted to just walls. Iron doors, etc, can also be used. Just put them on a coloured wool or something so it's obvious.

Man that sucks :/ I would suggest that if you do have the time, just try to get something out. I rather have at least a base plan and a set of ideas to look at than just nothing at all The potential of the maps will be taken into consideration as well, so if you don't finish it, don't stress.
I'll see if I can at least get some basics set up for you then You definitely deserve the extra dungeons, it's an excellent map after all and I'd love to contribute in some way.
can i make an open air dungeon? and can make more floors for the dungeon because what i am planning may need more floors. (sorry if i commited some grammar errors i dont have a perfect english and its my first post in a forum in my entire life)

Well I will need a heap of people to help test it. I'll make a note
I'm in
I'd love to help test things out

Trust me, ideas for this kind of thing are very hard to come by >.<
