Alright guys. For those concerning "Victory Monument". I will change it, It will be changed in version 1.2. I am so sorry for not realizing I'm sorry for being so ignorant. I just didn't think hard. So I apologize and now you may laugh at my demise. Tomorrow will be the update as planned or later today.
Ok, nice beginning. I played through white, but I think that blazes were a bit much, as well as a 44 second poison II?
The VM design is nice, and I like the MM, but it's a bit claustrophobic. Also, I don't know if this is intended, but we have full strength brewing and stone tools access from the start. They're massively op bro. the stone sword does 2 1/2 hearts, with strength II it will 2 hit mobs, effectively the old diamond sword.
Thanks for the feedback.. Trust me this was all intentional and was ment. This map is intended to be difficult also Risk VS Reward plays a important part in these areas. Potions can be brewed infinity anyways so giving the player a potion isn't too bad.
So...you intended the player to have unlimited Regen, Strength, Speed, and Fire Resist pots at the first intersection? This map is going to be rough...right now I'm working on getting my ghast farm operational. This will also give me unlimited TNT, which will be nice. Just curious, when I was going through the tunnel to IS1 from the starting, I stopped to mine some cobble. However, I found this giant bedrock thing, which was oddly shaped horizontally, but completely unchanging on the vertical axis. Is there bedrock surrounding every area a couple layers past the walls? I haven't tested this at all, just wondering based on what I saw on the roof.

In some areas We attempted to block off areas where we think people may try to escape. Obviously there are open sky areas, we cant do it all. I am super glad you enjoy the map and also If you are smart enough to farm these materials, then do so! Make the map easier.
With your approach you are concentrated and determined. We will wipe that away eventually in the map. You will see !
Don't believe Vechs- the terms he claims are copyrighted, are not. There is no way he would obtain copyright protection on the use of terms as general as 'Victory Monument', or even 'Super Hostile'. And where he mentions he has trademark protection- now that really takes the cake, and he slipped up there big time. You see, you can check online to see whether anyone holds trademark protection over any given term. I did, and he does not have trademark protection over it. No way he would anyway- it's far too general a term to deserve intellectual property protection.
But that does not mean that you can use those terms without obtaining the guys permission beforehand. I mean, come on, it's not exactly fair to copy and paste a guy's work (even if he does it in his free time as a hobby). Change the name to something else, like 'Wool Monument', or 'Wool Wall', or 'Wool Trophy Cabinet'... It's only fair. There is law and there are principles. I believe that you should not, as a matter of principle rather than law (at least in this case), copy and make use of a term which someone else has had the ingenuity to come up with himself.
Just my 2 cents.
Great map btw
I am so glad you would defend someone as low as me against the creator of the CTM series. I Completely stated my inspiration for the map completely towards Vechs I did not intend to start a comment riot. We already changed the name to "Monument of Exile" and I would let anyone use it because I dont want to claim any words as my own because I am not like that. All respect to Vechs seriously HE made series and provided the entire minecraft community with a different gameplay. Hereby I am changing the name and I am sorry if I caused anyone anger. I didn't intend it and it was a mistake. I love the minecraft community and I will defend it to the death. We did not use Adf.ly or any other website to make profit off the download, We wanted to bring another enjoyable map for you guys to play. <3 iReapism ~ Thats the real me.
I worked through Dark Nexus, that place... well, I don't like bridge-y platform-y areas at all, so this was more a chore for me than anything else. The enchanting table was nice, though. At I2, I thankfully got nicely reemberced for the loss of the shears with some massively OP sharp 4 shears. You are aware this deals 2 1/2 through 6 1/2 hearts, meaning it, on average, deals 4 1/2 hearts - about a sharpness 2 diamond sword.
The loot vs. difficulty in this map reminds me a lot of Waking Up, and I'm liking it. It's done quite well. The areas could be better made/designed though.

Yurikahn, This map was tested from beginning about 10x, We know the beginning to end and got all the hidden chests. Its still a really hard map. And besides wait till you get spiders with triple their normal health and tell me its op... My suggestion is to play the map then make a judgement but other then that i love your feedback and want to see more. Also with Shady Nexus the terminology used defines the area. That's a hard place It is used intentionally! You may bridge but becarful of unwanted enemy's. You know flying skeletons, fast blazes. No biggie!

I've been poking around I3 and the custom mobs don't seem to bother me that much. As an aside, the special magma cubes in the ravine were awesome. I haven't really seen magmas used that way before. One thing annoying me a bit is that the shroom place apears to be a copy of the ravine, though I haven't done it yet. Also, I'm playing on 41b so the pigmen are massively op, so I'll probably leave that place for later.
All right, so I have beat I2 and I'm getting ready to head off to I3. I have died once... That place where I died was a place of pure terrors. THIS! Is what you made do in this area...
(You cant see most of it because of a chunk error thing. But there is like 10 different air bridges around :P)

How many intersections does it have?
There are 4 intersections. What in 41b make them OP? I am interested to know!

Also Did you like the riddles so far. I haven't seen a reply on those.
The zpigs are OP because they have gold swords, which they now use in one of the 1.4 snapshots. This makes them do over twice the damage of a normal zombie, plus the fact that they are very fast.
Anyway, I haven't played this in a while so I thought I'd try it again. I got the diamond chestplate & some enchanted iron armor (thanks, usually not an I2 thing - it seems you've given out harder enemies and better items early) and just ran around the edge. With all the armor, the zpigs aren't a problem at all. I also went back and beat Miner's Aversion, which turned out to be actually fairly easy once I got past the blaze spawners. They seem to be modified to spawn more of them, correct?
Edit: Raveging magma... Not your best area. I grabbed a water bucket and it's beat. It's fairly badly constructed & paced. Also, your sh7 shears are indeed OP, mobs in I2 are not balanced correctly considering that the ravine is the most likely place for the player to go first, and get the shears. Would you give out a sharpness 2 diamond sword that never breaks in an I2 area?
The afforementioned Let's Play has come to fruition.
It is a 2-man LP of your map with my friend and I that will be uploaded tomorrow...
I'll post a link when it is up.

Been there, tried that.
In other news I just died again to about 10000 charged creepers...

Thanks! I really enjoyed putting them up. Riddles are always fun I hope.
