I'm looking for players to try out and review this fun and challenging adventure map. Let's Plays and walkthroughs are welcome. It should take at least 3-4 hours to finish both storylines. For 1-4 players. (Most fun with 2+) This map works on 1.9.
In this adventure map, there are two possible storylines. The adventures include jumping puzzles, mazes, complete-the-monument tasks, mystery, and combat. Score is counted by how many emeralds you find. Storyline: You wake up in the hospital, unable to recall anything. You're penniless, homeless, and friendless. It's up to you how you respond to this scenario. What kind of name will you make for yourself?
Here's the gameplay difference between the two adventures. In the Tavern adventure, you experience more combat and mazes. In the Pay-your-debt adventure, there is more finish-the-monument style gameplay, along with more storyline books. There is a lot more redstone work in this adventure as well. Hope this helps!
Rules: No breaking blocks, unless instructed to. Gold blocks indicate locations for levers or pressure plates. Once correctly placed, a plate or lever shouldn't be removed. Crafting of food, weapons, armor, and tools is allowed. Contents in chests can be used, unless a book or sign reads otherwise. The map should be played on normal difficulty.Multiplayer server settings should be set to "difficulty=0 ; pvp=false" ; "enable-command-block=true". Or use the open to LAN feature for local multiplayer.
Important Tips: -It is important to sleep periodically before trying to progress. -Pay attention to signs. -Looking for hidden things brings rewards.
Enjoy the map! :-)
This map is handy for when you travel around town. (Volcano Island by Tobiaspc and others.)

We're looking for someone to record a Let's Play of the Pay-the-debt Adventure.
The Grand Entrance as seen from the castle throne.
Hmm. What's this? You'll have to play to find out!
An ancient temple? Floating Islands? Another ancient temple?
Try it with friends! Give me your opinion through the comments here. :-)
@tormunds Thanks. We're tried really hard on this map. I wish more people would leave feedback on high and low points of the map so I could improve on this and any future projects. I think it's because we're unknown.
Well congrades!!!
Just one thing.
You should make another map because one map is not enogh more people will want more maps from you.
Once a map maker, always a map maker.
Well, we are making another map. The working title is "The Adventures of Thomas One." It's an episodic coming-of-age adventure. We're still early in the development, so no idea when it will be available for download. We're trying to pay a lot more attention to unique building designs and storylines this time around. We're building a completely new, futuristic not-quite-earth Metropolis for this adventure.
-Changed a spot on the floating islands where you could get trapped.
-Added a place to sleep on floating islands.
-Prof. Bimbit's house is more dangerous to get to.
-Changed contents of a dispenser on floating islands.
-Added more hidden emeralds on floating islands.
-Added sign in tavern to change difficulty to normal.
-Adjusted farm ground to prevent a lever from breaking when dirt is hoed.
-Filled an empty mob dispenser.
-Added a sign to indicate where "Sanitation training" and "Farmer Brown's Farm" is.
Tell me if you find any bugs in this updated map. :-)
Over 1000 people have tried out our adventure map! Also, we're on the waiting list for "Basement Gamerz" to try out our map. If they post a video of it, I'll add it the original post.
Hello everyone! I've added a bit more detail as to how the two adventures are different in gameplay style. Maybe it will help you choose which one to play first (but please play both!).
hi james_meier. i downloaded your map. IT IS AMAZING!!! everything bout it is awesome. also i was wondoring how do you make the redstone circuits. please post a picture o drawing. i am also making a mystery map called The Only Ones. it is based on the book. so, yea.
Thanks! The redstone work was by far the hardest and most complicated part of creating this adventure map. I may be the mouthpiece of this team, but my brother did the redstone (I did the mcedit work). It was a long process and required a lot of testing to get it all working right. He tells me that Youtuber Kale Havoc has a great series of redstone tutorials. http://www.youtube.com/user/KaleHavoc?feature=watch

Hey man, I just wanted to let you know that I put up my first episode yesterday, but I have a quick question. Was I supposed to keep all the stuff in my inventory when I spawned? (Zombie eggs, stone, 3 beds, lever, etc)

Those must be leftovers from editing the map. Those should be disposed of.
I've edited the map description to include instructions to dispose of those.
Works with Minecraft 1.9

@RETRO_MPH Thanks, man. My brother and I have joint ownership of this account, so I'll have to ask him. We'll take a look at your projects. :-)
I added you as a friend and am following the post about your maps. :-)
"Ultimate Parkour" looks like one I'll be watching for.
