I am sorry you cannot get the map going. Not tried in Linux myself.
Maybe the map is re-generated somehow.

When you spawn in the map and press F3, what is the x,y,z coords?
Also if you press 't' and type /seed what number does it give you.
Do you have any mods installed?
Can you install and play other custom maps from the forum?

A third map may be done in the future, I am currently working on a new map series called 'Legends of Kalmour'.
Been working on putting together a new web site for map development and will be looking for talented people to help out in these future maps.

What version of minecraft are you using? I have not tested with V1.6 or 1.7 and am looking into revamping the map for 1.7 over the next few months.

Yes you are right the emeralds do not count, but the fact you found 81 diamonds makes you the top scorer!

As for Curse of the Pumpkin Prince 3? Not in the pipeline at the moment I am afraid, I am working on a new map though.
