Alright! I think I'm pretty much done with my first level! I'm definitely going for a second level, as well as a possible third one! I'll send them all together when they're done, of course
Can you guess what it is by looking at the screenshots?

I think I see the general idea, but not sure if I recognize it.
What comes to mind is a scene from Final Fantasy Advent Children.

Haven't seen that movie, so nope That said, it doesn't come from any particular media. It's simply a garden/pond with a large horned frog. I'm gonna enjoy making the second level, though it'll be tougher redstone-wise...
The main idea of the logo i made is that you can choose where to go.
As i said i have no idea for the name so here is the blank version: http://majordegree.deviantart.com/#/d5cypny
I really like it. Can I add my own font to it and use it (with credit)?
I've just about finished my own entry. It takes place in a swamp at night after the player emerges from a cave (i.e. a previous area).
Emerging from the cave.
This is kind of an easy area, focused more on the look and feel of the place rather than puzzles or combat. There are some traps that can initiate a battle with a couple of zombies if the player(s) are not careful. Also loot, and a vague journal written by an unknown character.
A view of some dilapidated building.
I'm not going to submit it just yet, in case the devs come up with some new block that I want to put in (I assume using 1.4 blocks is ok? since command blocks will be used), but I might start working on another entry, this time a maze, since I like making mazes.
Above view of the area.
This is going to be a pretty awesome map. Glad I could contribute!
My map is inspired by Deja Vu (not a copy) it features a lot of small rooms where figure it out then die. Is any of this against the rules?
I don't see anything wrong with that description, just make sure it's passable a second time after all of the death traps. And... remember that spawning no longer works the way it did when Deja Vu came out.
I guess you may need some explanatory text about each level. I'm thinking of doing a short video walkthrough as well, in case you don't have the time to figure everything out. Both these files should be within the .zip, right?
It would be easier to view the video on your channel (attachments in email can get rather large).
You could add a sign or book in the map that directs people to the video.
Ooh, neat! That one has a nice, familiar theme to it!
I myself am going for more of a visual build and less of a redstone-heavy one. After all, I'm no good at wiring.

Yes.

You can kill players.
You can even give them beds, but I will be adding checkpoints as well, so they don't need to take up room in your entries.
Is it butchering the original art? (If so I apologize)
This is a combination of MajorDegree's symbol and Unh3lpful's font, plus my own.
Are you going to email this to me? I need everyone to follow the rules, also so I can send you updates or questions when I start compiling.

I'm in the same boat as you right now The worst part is, I spent about a DAY working on one door. (3x3 of course, but still)
My mini-CTM map! It's a fun map, so play it!
I've Emailed them to you Ron! i think you'll recognize the email? *Cough Lava-fall Skin Cough*

There is only one other entry that also followed the rule.
And my entry has an option that it ends by walking towards a cave exit! Teamwork!
