So played through the whole thing. Loved it. I was, however, disappointed in that "Bonus quest" in the first toybox. I really think that you should implement some toyboxes that can only be accessed by picking more difficult paths. Also, I didn't really like how some exits were two way, and led to another part of the same story, while others were one way, and just switched stories. Actually, the problem was that there was no way of discerning the two.
Also, suggestion: Before a player goes to the bedroom, they should have the option to return to the... uh... "previous" bedroom so that they could try alternate routes and whatnot all in one go.
Any chance you'll be doing another one of these, or be adding to the current one? I would love to contribute some of my own quirky toyboxes.
I was enjoying the map until I stepped into the green teleport chute to follow Batrul. I arrived in some sort of teleport room where they talked about teleportation being experimental and should work. Then I heard some explosions, lagged a bit, and appeared in a room connected to another room full of zombie spawners. I then proceeded to get attacked by about five zombies, then I teleported out on half a heart, teleported forwards and backwards several times, got a message that I suffocated in a block, and appeared at my last bedroom.
It is a good map though, so I'd love to see this fixed. Thank you and good job!
So, from what i can glean from the main post, the toybox will be like a newletter, releasing Contests and publishing the winners of each to create a series of "Cream of the Crop" maps that, having been judged by rsmalec himself, are assured to be good.?

Did I miss anything?
The Toybox is a compilation of 80 mini-maps that were submitted by members of the Minecraft community.
The map is downloadable. The contest is complete - jGazMom was the winner.
Fascinating. Just flying around in creative mode post map there were entire areas I never visited at all. This is worth a replay or two!
The only thing that caught me here and there was deciding whether to use supplies from previous map segments or not. Some places felt resource starved, others incredibly generous, and sometimes I'd have a leftover item that'd solve a puzzle in the next section.
Sorry - I could swear I had replied.
I definitely won't be doing another Toybox map, but I almost certainly will do another community collaboration project. I like to mix it up.
I was actually impressed when I was at the street with the jukebox. And before that street. I was scared when it said "You had your chance." Great Map!
Note: I haven't actually completed the map, but I watched almost all of Jigarbov's stream as well as all of Thad's LP. Once I finish the map, I may think about bumping up the score.

NEWER RATING SYSTEM:
Rating divided into 5 subcategories worth 6 points each:

6 is amazing. The story of the map is flawlessly intertwined with the build. The characters are distinct and original.
5 is excellent. The story well supports the map and the player is immersed into the story.
4 is above average. The story is original and creative.
3 is average. The story is basic, but still makes sense.
2 is below average. The story doesn't make sense and/or doesn't keep the player's attention.
1 is poor. The story is made no sense whatsoever. Maps with very little story will recieve this rating.
Effort - /6 - This includes creativity, the size of the build, aesthetic detail, etc.
6 is amazing. The atmosphere of the map is flawless and the build and/or detail is outstanding. The player forgets they are playing Minecraft.
5 is excellent. The atmosphere is great and the build/detail are consistent and interesting. The player feels immersed into the world.
4 is above average. There is a good atmosphere and the build is consistent.
3 is average. There is a slight atmosphere and some detail. The build is okay.
2 is below average. The atmosphere seems odd and the details do not support the build or story.
1 is poor. The atmosphere makes no sense and the build does not fit the story.
Progression - /6 - This includes the pacing of gear and materials as well as consistency.
6 is amazing. The loot and resources are consistent and very well planned out. There are resting points where the player can regear that are flawlessly built into the story. The player feels rewarded, but not overpowered. Death penalties are fair.
5 is excellent. Loot and resources are well planned out and a sense of acomplishment develops within the player.
4 is above average. Loot is well planned out and consistent.
3 is average. The player may recieve too little or too much loot. The map may not flow.
2 is below average. The map doesn't flow very well and underpowered/overpowered loot is given too fast or too soon.
1 is poor. Like 2, but more extreme.
Mechanics - /6 - This includes how well Minecraft features are used.
6 is amazing. Minecraft features are used in a brand new way that I've never seen before. Puzzles are innovative and very original.
5 is excellent. Minecraft features were used very well. Puzzles are original and well thought out.
4 is above average. Minecraft features are used well. Puzzles are fun and interesting.
3 is average. New Minecraft features are used. Puzzles are okay.
2 is below average. Newer Minecraft features are not used very well. Puzzles are tedious and/or boring.
1 is poor. Newer Minecraft features are not used at all. The puzzles are unoriginal and rage-inducing or far too easy.
Difficulty - /6 - This includes how easy or hard the map was in terms of mob fighting and puzzles.
6 is amazing. The difficulty is at the perfect level based on the progression. Mob fights are strategic and interesting rather than tedious. The puzzles are solvable with enough thought. The map plays with the player to make them feel stimulated, but not overwhelemed.
5 is excellent. The map may be a bit too hard or too easy, but it's around the right difficulty level. Mob fights are interesting and the puzzles are solvable.
4 is above average. The map may be a bit too hard or easy. Mob fights are fairly basic and puzzles may be slightly too hard or easy.
3 is average. The map is too hard or too easy. Mob fights are basic.
2 is below average. The map is far too hard or too easy. Mob fights are tedious and not interesting.
1 is poor. The difficulty is far off. Puzzles and mob fights are confusing and/or impossible.
Please keep in mind that ratings are only a matter of opinion. Never let low ratings make you think your map is bad. Your map can never be bad in my eyes, for you took the time to make it and had the courage to try your best.
Note: Feel free to resubmit your map(s) and I will re-review it. Your score can never go down, only up.
Additional Feedback: Story - The story is extremely well done. Rsmalec has successfully taken what seem like random snippets and threaded them together in a way that makes sense. While a few transitions may seem a bit odd, the rest are just about flawless. Combined with the interesting characters and mini-stories made by the community, the story is outstanding. Very well done. 6/6, easily. Effort - It is obvious that much time and effort went into the creation of this map. The various rooms and the encounters themselves look great. I love the careful attention to detail throughout the map, especially the bunny slippers. 6/6. Progression - This is where, unfortunately, the map loses a point. Because the keepInventory gamerule is set to true, the player eventually becomes extremely overpowered. I would have much preferred for the player's inventory to be wiped at certain points so this wouldn't happen. Additionally, I feel that the map could use a few more resting points. Still, though, the encounters are well strung together and it's hard to get lost, which I like. Overall, a 5/6 for progression. Mechanics - Tell me, how could I not give a score other than a 6/6 for mechanics in such a grand community project? Nirgalbunny's entry especially surprised me. 6/6. Difficulty - Unfortunately, I just can't say that the difficulty of the map is perfect in its current state. I feel for a story-based choose-your-own-adventure map that the puzzles (especially much of the parkour) are far too difficult. Because the player can easily become overpowered, mobs become less and less of a threat, making fighting-based encounters (like mine) too easy. Therefore, I'm going to have to take off a couple of points. 4/6.
Overall, it has its flaws in progression and difficulty, but it's otherwise an amazing map. Well done rsmalec, and of course, everybody who participated!

From the LPs that I've seen, the current version is stable. Congrats to all 54 members of the community who created this map!!!

And the room at the end is great, Ron. Perhaps add a "set spawn" option there so people can easily get back (by killing themselves).
