I want to put a finger on a "might be a another problem for Ron & the Toybox". I encountered a teleport problem with not yet loaded chunks in one of my maps. The tp worked fine, but it was at such a distance that the chunk where I landed, wasn't loaded when I got there. I guess one should just save and reload, but I "paniced", just to see the consequenses. It totally screwed up everything, yet nothing changed. It's like that Nether problem we had with 1.3.1, but you don't fall and you can't move. It may also have to do with the fact that I tp:ed within closed spaces, and that's why I want to warn you, Ron.
I'm aware of this, but not sure I can completely avoid it.
I have created a graphical version of The Toybox sequence (a flow chart) so I can tell which entries should be near each other. And, I'm pasting them into an 8x10 grid so they are as close to each other as possible. So hopefully this will help, but the main rule of teleporting will be, "remain calm". (can't be any worse than falling to your death over and over)...
Oh, and by the way... Toybox beta phase 1 emails are going out in a few minutes

Phase 1 is part of the map right not just the version 1.
After looking at the credits, it appears that my skin is not there. My name is associated with a Steve skin, but as said in my messages, my skin is only in my first entry's world! Sorry for the inconvenience, but that's where it is.

Congrats to the winner! Jgazmom was it? Look forward to playing your entry:)
I wasn't really expecting to win, I kept my entry fairly simple, I just wanted to participate in making the map.
EDIT: Just went through the first Beta. My name is spelled correctly and is matched up to the correct avatar. However there is a written book lying on the ground next to my avatar (the one with editing notes that I left in a chest next to it, though the chest is gone), and there are signs on my left shoulder that you can remove.
Also, the signs we wrote with our names and the names of the level that we put next to our avatars are still there. Nothing wrong with that really. They just seem unnecessary.
And, if I may offer my opinion, the way the avatars are laid out isn't ideal. The spacing between rows is good. But the fact that you pass by two signs with names on them at the same time, and the speed of the minecart, means that you don't have time to read both of them.
Might I suggest that instead of the current set-up, take one side and offset it with the other side so they are zig-zagged rather than in rows. That way the minecart can go at the same speed and you will still be able to see all the avatars, but now you can also read all the names.
Instead of this:
It's like this:
Shouldn't take up much more room since there is already a lone avatar at the back.
Just a suggestion.
I just played the Beta credits of the map, you didn't spell my name wrong or anything however i have one suggestion. Remove the floor beneath the tracks and player skins in MCEdit, that way it would look cooler!
Yep - I've been thinking about what I'm going to do with that grass, but it will be lower priority than getting the actual entries compiled.

I'll look at the things you pointed out near your avatar.
RE: spacing
I agree, it's better your way.
I was initially going to NOT put powered rails and let the player hold down the up button, but it was extremely slow. I considered a timing mechanism on the minecarts to stop you for a few seconds at each sign, but that might be annoying in LPs. I'll most likely implement your idea. If anyone REALLY wants to read the signs I imagine they would get out of the minecart and walk
Yep! I actually thought you were including those letters for my benefit only. LoL
I just realized it's Miss Kwik
Lol! No, my username is MLSSKWLK in lower case letters (it's my real name with no vowels). MILLS (but in a proper case) is my calling name or nickname because you pronounce my username by only spelling each letter out. How I was called Mills is a long story. Please change it to "Mills" mlsskwlk on the sign. Thank you very much.

Ohhhh! I'm very sorry if I offended you. I'll fix it in multiple places
Beta Round Two is now ready for download. In this version you have access to all 80 entries, though they are not linked yet.
The purpose of this round is for you to confirm that your entry didn't (won't) get broken during the final compilation process. And let me know if you see any fixes needed in your entry.

You now have an email explaining.
It's not the whole map. Yet.
My bad. Fixed!
This is why I do beta
Agree. He was a victim of mostly-alphabetical-order. I'll move him.
Fixed.
I'd be willing as well.
I've also had ideas for a Christmas map floating around in my head since last November... maybe I can actually bring them to fruition this year...
Anywho... loved the announcement video! I'm stunned at my score Woohoo!

I just noticed you don't have your entry from The Library in your signature

FYI - I also updated the TFI video
Edit: I feel like an idiot now, didn't knew the winner was already chosen...
Maybe next time!
