My first completed puzzle map! i love puzzles, and finally got around to making one. It's short, consists of 6 puzzles, but is not an easy one. It takes a bit of thinking power and logic in some scenarios, and has the meanest jump puzzle i have seen in a while. (first person to upload a video of them completeing it wins cookies) i wanted this to kinda stay away from the usual puzzle map, and this one is heavily redstone based, lots of circutry goin on behind the scenes. Please enjoy, and give feedback! also use spoilers when asking specific questions in the comment. I love not knowing what happens next, so don't ruin that for everyone!
after watching some of the videos, I noticed playing co-op really changes the dynamic of the map. If you choose to play co-op, try to imagine the puzzles in a singleplayer mindset.

Reviews!
- Creativity: 4 - Love the redstone still the 5th room goes to fast. I would make it a bit slower.
- Originality: 4 - Love this sort of puzzle maps but still u get 4 because it's a bit short.
- Story: 2.5 - u get 2.5 because the name matches the map. A story was not involved inhere and it matches the title.
- Details: 3.5 - I would use more colours cause at a long playing duration u could get bored.
Total score: 14 on 20.
there is no story! sorry guys, i know thats somewhat expected, but i was going for a kinda in the darktheme. Thats also why the architechture is so simple, i wanted a very plain look, with anything that stands out to be part of the puzzle. still a good review!

Creativity=19/20
-Map included 6 puzzles.
-Correct path challenge is common.
-Seen puzzles really similar to shooting the minecart! (hardest out of the 5 I did!)
-Never seen align the room or matching before!
-Love how you go back to spawn after every challenge.
Grammar=10/10
Difficulty 8/10
-Creator isn’t lying when he/she says that this map is difficult!
-Even if I was a parkour master, I don’t see how the jumping puzzle is even possible!
Direction=10/10
-No instructions other than rules.
-Pretty much everything was easy to figure out what to do.
Fun=19/20
-Everything was fun but the shooting the minecart made me want to rage!
-Everything was challenging where it was still fun but not hard where it ruins the map.
Redstone=10/10
-This map uses extreme redstone that’s very complicated.
-I’m debating about giving this map extra credit just for the redstone usuage!
Overall, CLUELESS was an excellent puzzle map that's challenges make up for the duration of gameplay. This map map also uses really advanced redstone which makes most of the puzzles very unique. You must try this map yourself!
I found the puzzles just challenging enough for it to be fun!
Clueless by anincompoop25. Gameplay - Overall, this is a well designed map. The guessing, challenging, and remembering aspect was something that took me a while to get used to. Almost every time, it was pick the left or right path. There is a pattern to it, but it took a while to figure out. The parkour is pretty good as well. I'm not exactly the greatest Minecraft parkour-er, but this was fun for me. It's hard to find a good, challenging puzzle map like this one, but apparently it has been done. Anin, thank you for making a playable, well-designed puzzle map. 5 points Aesthetics - As I mentioned above, aesthetics is a big topic for me. In my opinion, that's the driving force behind keeping my interest in a map. And this was done very well. When you walk into the main hallway after spawn, it wasn't just a giant box with hallways branching off. Instead, there was an arched glass roof that let light it and made it look better. And it took me a while to get used to the 2x2 hallways, but I think it's good that you did that. If you're "trapped" in an iron complex with puzzles, cramped is very realistic. I also liked the fake hallways/entrances. I won't ruin what they are, in case people reading haven't played the map, but you'll know when you see them. 5 points Mechanics - As far as I could tell, there were no bugs in the map. 5 points Final Notes - Clueless is a well designed puzzle map. It's hard to come across one that is so simple yet so challenging at the same time. It is a realistic puzzle map, and doesn't expect insane run-and-jumps. If you aren't a parkour fan, the map can be done without the parkour. Final Score - 15 points. A+
"whoever made this map clearly has a very good knowledge for redstone, and a severe hatred for people"
i love it
New review by Dschwaa ( im sorry if i spelt it wrong)
CLUELESS: 6.6
When I saw this map first I didn't think to highly of, but when I started to do the puzzles, I started to realize how much work went into this map.
The map was a huge redstone contraption! There are some levels that involved over 370 pieces of redstone such as a simple, piston jumping puzzle. The object of the puzzle was to hit one of the buttons while jumping on piston activated iron blocks. It is possible to hit the wrong button and get knocked off! Another redstone technique is whenever you would beat a puzzle, the wool in front of the entrance would turn green (Before it was red.) The redstone was just incredible!
The builds were alright for a puzzle map. You are trapped in an enclosed facility made with iron blocks, glowstone, glass, and wool. So, for a puzzle map, the builds were okay. As for the test's builds, "meh" Just kept the same feel throughout the map. I did like the rainbow pattern the map creator made in one of the tests!
There was no set storyline so it was quite confusing where to start/end. What kind of upset me was that there was no ending. After you beat all the tests, you're kind of left hanging. I didn't know If I was done with the map, or not.
Overall, it was a good map and I believe it can go pretty far.
TIPS:
-Make an ending. I explained it in the paragraph.
-Make sure the tests show you the ending easily. It was hard to see where to go once I beat the puzzles.
He was using an old version of the map, and the ending issue has LONG since been fixed. but decent review, a little lacking though.
I had a lot of fun playing through this map. All of the puzzles were working fine, I didn't have any redstone related problems. And that's saying a lot, because this map features a LOT of redstone. Even every corridor has sliding piston doors, every puzzle uses a lot of redstone. When I finished the map, I went into creative to check out the redstone, and it takes up about 80% of the map. Yeah, it's a lot. So that's a big plus. Almost all the puzzles were pretty original, and the puzzles felt really satisfying to complete. A big downside to this map is that it has no plot or story whatsoever. I only gave it 5/10 instead of 1/10 because I didn't want to see it's score drop so low because of that one thing. Even without a story, the map is still a thrill to play. There is a wide variety of puzzles, even one that involves some pretty tricky parkour. However, some of these puzzles are a little frustrating, especially the one where you need to remember & choose matching colors, but once you leave the room with the colors, you can't go back. I think you should have been able to do that, since the door still closes anyways so you still can't see both of them at the same time. Another one you had to shoot falling minecarts, and this one took me forever to finish. As for the build and detail, the build is pretty impressive, I'm sure it took a very long time to make, but just about everything is made of iron blocks and glowstone, so it starts getting dull bland after a short amount of time. However this is made up for by the fact that everything runs on redstone, so it's really cool and helps keep it interesting. All in all, Clueless is one of the best puzzle maps I have seen in a while.
I recommend this map to anyone who likes a challenge, and to people who enjoy puzzles.
Clueless is a great puzzle map that has a lot of challenges to offer.
In this map you are completely clueless. Its hard to complete the puzzles, there are no tips, no supplies, no nothing! All there is is a map to be completed. Personally, I can handle only a small amount of hardness, but on this map, I experienced double the frustration. You don't even have the option to go back to the spawn to choose another puzzle! I just didn't like this map. The only reason I am not giving it a coal is because I think SOME people might be able to do this. SOME people might actually favor the lack of choices. I hope anicom thinks about the wimps of map-playing.
Score: 5/10
I didn' really like this map. With the lack of choices and time, I quit after having to re-download the game twice. Not to mention the lag.
Tips:
-More options
-More supplies
-More time

CLUELESS review
Overview:
CLUELESS is a truly mind boggling redstone based puzzle game. It is mind boggling not only because of the many challenging puzzles, but because the thought of all the redstone power going into this map is truly amazing. CLUELESS contained many original challenges and several mini games that simply blew my mind. I had a wonderful time playing and reviewing this map, and it was probably one of the best custom maps that I’ve ever played.
The Good:
Many of the puzzles were confusing, and sometimes frustrating, but nearly every one left me smiling or in a daze of redstone awesome. Aside from the initial rules given at spawn, no other help is directly given to the player, you are left to solve each puzzle on your own. While some might find this extremely frustrating, it took me back to an era when games didn’t hold your hand through the whole process, and you were left to your own wits to survive. The lack of help also adds a lot to the feeling of accomplishment after you finish a room, much like the feeling when you completed Portal for the first time. I believe I said the words “I’m a genius!” more times than anything else during this puzzle map than anything else. I can’t really say much more about the great parts of this map without spoiling it for others, but believe me when I say that nearly every puzzle room is a beautiful work of redstone. Oh, and the chests of goodies at the end was quite enjoyable to my inner griefer
The Bad:
However, there were only six puzzles to be completed, which gave me just under an hour of gameplay (granted, I cheated in the parkour room). The shortage of puzzles is really the biggest downer in CLUELESS. But there were a few other tiny niches that bothered me a little bit. Granted, I’m already quite terrible at parkour, but from my perspective, it seemed like the parkour room was nearly impossible to complete in under a half hour of learning the correct path to take. Also, in the maze-type room with the 6,000 pressure plates, the solution to the puzzle was quite confusing. After revisiting it, I saw that the path was in fact given to the player, but my first time going in, I only glanced at it, thinking it was decoration, which left me with the good 20 minute task of trial and error until I found the solution. I know that I mentioned earlier that the lack of help makes you feel smarter upon completing the room, but bypassing the solution made that puzzle very frustrating.
The Ugly:
I didn’t find any sort of bugs or accidental exposed redstone in this map. Obviously at the finish there is the minecart ride showing off all the circuitry, but that was clearly intentional and quite impressive.
Suggestions:
-MOAR PUZZLES!!!
-Put a sign in front of each entrance hinting to the player what they’re up against before they get locked in the room
-Most of this map was the typical iron block and glowstone rooms, maybe mix it up a bit, add some visual spice
Likes and Dislikes (contains spoilers)
Likes:
-EVERYTHING!!! But seriously, 99.8% of this map was awesome!
-Feeling like a genius right off the bat with that rotating hallway! Very cool
-The note block matching game was super awesome!
-Rainbow maze-thing!!
-I enjoyed the fun spin on a bow and arrow challenge, very challenging and fun!
-The parkour room looked like a great challenge to those skilled enough for it
-You, anincompoop25, are a master of redstone! Made the map very fun!!
Dislikes:
-If I didn’t have cheats enabled, I’d have been utterly screwed for the parkour room
-Would have been much appreciated if the solution were a little more perceptible for the pressure plate maze

REVIEW:
Gameplay: 9/10
The gameplay with this map, was extremely smooth. I absolutely loved how all of the puzzles would work smooth, as well as your excellent redstone work. The redstone work is the highlight on this map, and you did extremely good. after i did my first puzzle, i couldn't believe that the door over it was marked with green wool. That the workings of the map where great.
Unique Properties: 8/10
Now, if you had to ask me where the map was weakest, i would say here. The map just feels vanilla, but in a good way. I'm not gonna say that you made a bad choice of theme, I'm just gonna say that having a theme in general would give this map a ton of potential. On the bright side, this map has some neat ways of using redstone to make you think. Difficulty: 10/10
Now i'm not gonna lie. There was a puzzle, on this map, where i had to look at a walkthrough to figure it out. This map is amazingly difficult, and it really requires hard thinking as well as trial and error. The map's difficulty adds the all over flavor to the entire experience. Even though you didn't use a difficulty curve, the difficulty stays pretty steadily, and it makes for a great map.
Flawlessness: 9.5/10
For the most part, the map was rock solid. I could barely find ANY flaws with this map. It was virtually impossible to exploit, and it was nice knowing that. The only few flaws i did run in to, was the music block test, where you couldn't go back and look at the wall after going to the buttons, kinda like the test with the blue buttons where you could pop in and out. Otehr then that, rock solid. Smoothness: 10/10
The map's transitions where wonderful. Allways ending up back to the start was rewarding, and being on new paths after each test was pretty rewarding. The slow and steady theme of getting all 6 tests done was great, sittin in the main hub looking at your green wool blocks (and maybe that nether block one. ehhhh....) It was perfect. Design: 9/10
Other then a few points where i would be stuck, the map design was wonderful. Your redstone work with this map was the icing on the cake. The map's theme was very simple, and the tests where allways different and it really felt like a trial.
--------------------------------------------------------------------- OVERALL Average Map Rating: 9.3
This map had me frustrated to no end. The tests where difficult and sometimes confusing, and it was really hard. THATS what i like in a puzzle map! Puzzle maps are made to force you to think in order to move on. This map had me playing for hours, and it was worth it getting a roller coaster ride around it at the end. Great work.

Just Downloaded and ran through this. With the exception of the Puzzle that's you state to do last, I breezed through figuring them out, was rather enjoyable though.
My problem with the last puzzle, was not the difficulty. Even with all the settings reduced I couldn't get rid of enough lag to even attempt to run the course, not sure what there is to do about that, not like my computer is a slouch, but it was aggravating none the less. Perhaps a way to shut off the courses you aren't trying to run? I think I figured out the patterns, but can't seem to make the jumps from the lag delay, and this is on SP.
i thought that may be a problem, my computer only lags a tiny bit, so i was worried about slower computers. and did you ever actually do it? it takes me a few tries even. and the multiple routes were just for the confusion factor, ill see if i can do anything about it
I have not yet managed to do it, I got up one of the sides after I posted and discovered that they were a diversion, so far I've managed to scramble up to the Left and Right sides as you enter, and found them to both be dead ends. I have literally turned off everything in Minecraft and as much other stuff on my computer and I still ocassionally get stuck in the floor or don't see a block coming, but I think now it's just memorizing the pattern and executing.
Umm... I'm in this room with buttons on blue wool, and I am absolutely clueless (See what I did there ;D) as to what to do. I've only noticed that the fifth button makes a lot of piston sounds. I also have noticed that the roof is glass. Any hints? Am I like, supposed to look for codes in the clouds or something? Edit-» Never mind, figured it out! =)
Looks great, felt great, tasted great, smelled great, so I tried it, and now I'm great. Congratz on such a great map. Hope you expand. Might also make a video.
I would download this, but it appears it contains a large number of rooms that I would be hopeless at. For example, you say it has "the meanest jump puzzle i have seen in a while". I am ludicrously bad at "agility"/"gamer skill" tests - there is a reason I use overpowered Obsidian armor when playing survival and stay away from caves - and on top of that my computer suffers from random epic lag spikes which would make such tests even harder. My apologies for not being able to try this one in return for you trying mine.
